watched ‘the princess bride’ last night for the ♾️ time last night, paying extra attention to the incredible direction of rob reiner, & i was struck by the moment when the boy asks his grandfather to read the book again, the way peter falk turns back around is a direct reference to columbo- so clever
i’m sorry. the president of the united states continually refers to “transgender for everyone” & we’re not all collectively screaming “what the ACTUAL FUCK are you even talking about??” i get that everything is stupid & off the rails but how are we just letting this slide by without daily screaming?
i get where they are coming from but ring cameras have a function in terms of accessibility. i have a friend with advanced ms and having the ability to see and communicate with people at the door without having to walk over/look out/open it is a huge help.
society would be massively improved if ring doorbells were banned completely actually

We asked people who lived in homeless encampments that were cleared out in city “sweeps” to write about what object was the hardest for them to lose. “They took my baby pictures and my moms obituaries,” a 29-year-old in California wrote.

market manipulation is now legal policy and totally fine to do in the united states
