@hcrichardson.bsky.social I am not sure if you will answer this question but as someone living outside the US, why the heck are US citizens SO quiet regarding what Trump is doing to your country? Seriously. We have been told that the US is the beacon of democracy but there is no regular mass...

...protests as your gov't has been killing your democracy (and putting its target on my and other democratic countries). The silence is deafening and it looks like everyone is cheering it on. I know the polls say otherwise but, again, the question is where the heck is everyone?

@maryltrump.bsky.social You said in a LBC interview today that you didn't understand Trump's trade war with Canada. Trump himself said in January of 2025 he wanted to take Canada using "economic force". From Day One we saw his tariffs as an act of war towards stealing our country.

The Town of Gander and the Gander & Area Chamber of Commerce both seem to be organizing this and each have a "Contact Us" form for people to express concern about the US Ambassador attending.

...people came together to support each other to keep everyone safe. In that spirit, maybe it might be worth posting regular videos about Canadian businesses hurting and how we can help. Even though it will cost more, I would rather pay extra to get something here to The Rock than send a single...

FYI: Some more of the US demands for the Canada trade deal have been leaked and it is being called an Annexation Document because of just how much control they wanted over Canada. Such as control over Canadian energy, critical minerals, and trade deals with other countries.(Source: Dean Blundell)

@justinwolfers.bsky.social I love your videos but I think your most recent video about the new US tariffs on Canada left out something important. In Jan 2025, Trump said would take Canada using "economic force". Tariffs are viewed as an act of war by Trump towards weakening and taking our country.

Finally, the US returned the favour after WWII when they closed their base in the 50's and donated it to the Newfoundland Government. The government turned it into the first Childrens' Hospital that saved my life years later.

#2. During WWI, 3 US Navy ships ran aground during a storm in Newfoundland. Dozens of Newfoundland fishermen lowered themselves down a cliff in that storm to rescue as many sailors as possible.

(There is the famous story of a woman in town unable to wipe the oil off a sailor until the sailor told her that he was black - very rare in NL at the time. This sailor was so amazed at being treated like everyone else that it inspired him to ranks and jobs no other black person had before.)

Into more detail because there is no guarantee you will get it: #1 40 years ago this year, about 250 US military died on their way home for Christmas at Gander. A monument to those 101st Air Division souls is located a short walk from where the 9/11 refugees landed in 2001.

@velshi.bsky.social Why do US media keep getting it wrong about Canada??? Even if the tariffs were completely dropped, Canada will still boycott US goods/travel because our sovereignty has been repeatedly threatened by the US and it will stay like that for at least the next four years. Elbows up!!!

@timmerjoe.bsky.social A big thank you all of your great videos. I had minor surgery to get a kidney stone removed about 6 weeks ago. I started watching your playlist when I got home and it was going until I was well enough to get on the go two days later. Just what the doctor ordered! Thanks!!!

@sanders.senate.gov You are the only politician pushing back against Trump's threat to conquer Canada. Why is no one openly pushing back on this??? As a Canadian, I am DISGUSTED by the silence of US media, public, and others regarding the open threat to conquer an ally. Silence is approval to Trump.

You are up to date.
