Just wondering.. what's to stop people from buying a full game from steam, cloning it and then getting a refund within the time period allowed?

So apparently now indie devs cannot put their demos up because people will use Claude code to clone them. Public models, no less. What a fucking dystopia.

My dad showed me this birdhouse model of a coffee shop and I borrowed it and recreated it in Blender. Why? I don't know, it was fun, is that weird? 😅 I found a way to use it in my game as a literal model of a "coffee shop" so it's not a waste of time either now.
