Latest drawing. Art is therapy. I have arthritis in my thumbs which limits my dexterity. I've taught myself to draw not using my thumbs. I work in short bursts and can't draw 2 days running. But I have to regularly, it helps mental health and gives me purpose. #FrancisRossi #colouredpencil #art

Yesterday #AliceCooper reposted the drawing I did of him on FB and insta. Beyond thrilled. I've no way of knowing if he's actually seen it. It's an indescribable feeling. He also shared it as a story too. #sickthings. #fanart #portrait #colouredpencils #art

Something different for me. Acrylic on canvas sheet. I'm not a natural painter and find it confusing. So more practice. Practice thinking, exploring , doing... And the inevitable cliche.. the journey not the destination. #bird #birds #robin #robinredbreast #gardenbirds #artist #art #painter #nature

I don’t play and experiment enough. So I have. Seeing what works in a new paper. Decided I hate paper as it has a brick like texture But continued to see how far I could push it. Refuses to take any more abuse. So guess I’m done. Mixed media on W&N pastel paper. Poppy

remember when Trent Reznor recorded a concept album in 2007 about a dystopian America becoming a christo-fascist country where art is a crime and everyone is under cyber surveillance, and people thought he was a bit dramatic?? good times.

4 days later and I'm still overwhelmed. #NineInchNails in Manchester. #Treznor is a genius. I wept during the first song, just him and a piano. I sobbed when it finished, I didn't want it to end. No other music or gig has ever hit me so hard. Overwhelmed @treznor.bsky.social Words are not enough.

Fairly quick drawing for me. Not really finished but the surface wont take any more abuse. #pastel #colouredpencil #wildlife #seal #sealife #mixedmedia #nature #animalart #wildlifeart #natureart #cansonmiteintes #drawing #ukartist #pastelpainting

I'm totally overwhelmed. I got tickets to see one of my favourites #NineInchNails. It's a bucket list gig. I struggle hugely with anxiety when out so this is a MASSIVE deal. #TrentReznor is a genius . I can't bloody wait. Train, hotel booked too. Wait mode activated. Squeeeeee.

I love cows. It's one of 3 I've done of cows close up and at unusual angles . This was published in an international, coloured pencil artists book. Coloured pencil on drafting film. #cow #tongue #cows #cattle #art #farmlife #farmanimals #bovine #herd #colouredpencil #draftingfilm #artist

(I think) I finished this picture of two #horses just before Xmas. Although I feel it needs a bit more faffing. It's hidden away for a few days, so I can see with fresh eyes. #colouredpencil on #pastelmat #horse #horsesofbsky #greyhorse #pony #artist #wildhorses #drawing #pencils
