misc updates: laptop doesn't run deadlock good enough to play. experiencing burnout maybe. [redacted]. it's cold; blanket is warm. blehh; feel off / sluggish.

flipping through da sketchbook like woaaaa thats awesome woaaa. i have some sorta disease that prevents me from posting drawing stuff, but u should come over and look and ill point at the doodles i think are cool and explain what i like about them

I'm very all over the place with art stuff & like to fill up the whole page, so my notebook gets sorta messy to find stuff in when I'm juggling several ideas. I sorta wish I had like, separate binders/folders for different projects? add and remove pages as needed.

idk. maybe thats overkill. I have little color-coded sticky tabs to stick on the ends of pages, like bookmarks, if I wanted to be like "okay, futurevale notes are green. maid stuff is pink." but sometimes its just that I wanna flip *only* through the notes & ideas relating to a specific project.

been playing the hello kitty island adventure free trial while I can. i love my doggy. it's been a real doggy dog month so far

bee activities lately: -think about clubpenguin -talk about clubpenguin -art studies based on clubpenguin bc I wanna be better at room design for futurevale, so I'm practicing -probably doodling other generic drawings, idk -penguin

currently been playing a browser game called "DogOnline". it's so charming and silly. I highly recommend looking into it. adopt a doggy today.

somewhat locked in on a futurevale accessory shop ui overhaul tonight, but not enough that it's something I wanna post a video of yet. if I keep at it maybe there can be something to show off soon-ish, mayhaps, I hope.

drew this a bit ago bc I asked my friends what kind of dragon companion they'd want to have as a friend. so I had to try to figure out my own answer too. the result sorta amalgamates zweilous and flaaffy, lol

so, a current futurevale development goal is to stop aiming for "random event" stuff as much (+ make the project less daunting). Like, i was trying to be like Animal Crossing, with daily weather, seasons, holidays, rotating shop selections, visiting npcs-

But all that stuff was extra. So I pushed it to later; keeping it in mind so it wouldn't cause complications later. But like. even *that* was making it too complex. So now I'm trying to imagine a more simple version. a nice little world to explore, talk to npcs, do quests, collect hats, and stuff.

(actually! to be accurate: Its mostly holidays & seasons i was pushing back. random weather, rotating sales at shops, and daily events/visitors/oddities were already a thing / in-development. It still made planning the rest of the game more complicated than I'd like though! so yeh. less of that)

Ladies and gentlemen: Dogatha -CHEERING AND HOLLERING- I wanted to draw her as a Cocker Spaniel for a LOOOONG time now, but finally did! She is a dog that loves horses, so a barn dog/shepherd dog! Finally free to run around and play with the other animals... ❀️ #tadc #theamazingdigitalcircus

futurevale is a pendulum swing of feeling like a playable game & feeling like something held together with flimsy-tape and dreams >o< I think it's fine to be imperfect in some cases, but it'd be ideal if glitches and crashes were kept to a minimum. been keeping a list of glitches as i encounter 'em.

fallen leaves kinda look like thin slices of apples laying on the ground (in terms of color). I kinda wanna eat them... (I watched kara play a game where u rake leaves. there's no real fallen leaves irl quite yet).

antennas wobbling isn't a new feature, I've just disliked how they were animated for a while, so I haven't been using them, and so they haven't shown up in gameplay videos much. last night I adjusted them tho, so i sorta like them now πŸ‘
