Why are web sites still using PHP in 2026? Static web sites existed before CGI scripting was even thing and still work well today.

I may be biased (Microsoft employee here), but I really tried to give Google's Antigravity a fair chance, and it just sucks. Even limiting myself to $10 / month on GitHub Copilot I get so much more, same with Claude.

I find it funny that after CBS spiked their own 60 Minutes story of CECOT (due to political pressure), it was a Canadian TV station (Global) that accidentally leaked it. Canadian TV streaming is so terrible I fully believe it was accidental.

So, Amazon.ca courrier Intelcom / Dragonfly tried to deliver a package at 10:50 PM, which woke me up but couldn’t answer the door quickly enough. Only warning was an email sent 3 minutes before, while I was asleep. “Next day delivery” is now one week late. Garbage service.

By cleaning up old accounts from my password manager (15+ years!), I was able to recover my backup Google account just before deactivation!

So I just completed a survey from @bitwarden.bsky.social that suggested they want to double the price of their premium plans. That would majorly suck. Good thing I started migrating to @proton.me Authenticator for 2FA…
