Hi, my name is Ben. I have autism and was diagnosed at the age of five. By nineteen, both of my parents had passed away. I’ve been through bullying, grief, and moments where I nearly gave up. But I’m still here. I chose to turn the negatives in my life into positives.

🌕✨ Sometimes you don’t have to go anywhere to capture something incredible. I took this photo of the moon tonight from my living room, and I’m amazed at how it turned out! The detail is beautiful. It’s moments like these that remind us to pause and appreciate the beauty around us. 🌌

I miss my parents every single day. I wish they could see the man I've become, my journey as an autistic person, and how I've kept going through life's hardest moments.

There are so many things I wish I could tell them. In quiet moments, I still find myself talking to them, wishing they were here to see how far I've come.

Turn your battles into blessings. I've faced chapters of life I never would have chosen, experienced loss that changed me forever, and walked through moments I once struggled to see beyond.

But my story doesn't end with what I've lost or what I've endured. I want to turn those experiences into something meaningful and let the person I've become be a reminder that even after life's hardest storms, there is still hope.

One of the things I'm most proud of is being able to turn my pain into purpose. By sharing my story and raising awareness, I hope I can make a difference in someone else's life.

If my experiences can help someone feel understood, give them hope or remind them they're not alone, then that means more to me than words can express. ❤️

I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has made this a safe space for me to share my story. So much of what I’ve faced once felt like mountains I’d never overcome.

Today, I have the courage to speak openly, raise awareness and hopefully help others feel less alone. Knowing that my story connects with so many people means more than words can say. 😊❤️

Sometimes, the right words from the right person can mean more than they will ever realize. A little encouragement, a reminder that someone believes in you, or knowing you have a friend in your corner can make such a difference.

Life isn't always easy, and we all need people who remind us of the good they see in us, especially on the days when we struggle to see it ourselves.

Sometimes, a message touches your heart more than words can explain. ❤️🥹 My friend Erika shared the most beautiful words about me, calling me one of the best humans on earth, gifted in communication, and someone with an outstanding heart.

Her words, “I believe in you, Ben” and “family for life,” genuinely touched my heart. I’m so grateful for her kindness and the encouragement she’s given me. 🫶🏻❤️

The past couple of days have been truly special. I’ve had such an amazing time with my friend from Australia, and honestly, it’s been one of the best times I’ve had in a long while. After waiting so long to catch up again, having this time together has meant more than words can say.

I’m so grateful for the laughs, the time spent together and the memories we’ve made. These past couple of days will stay with me for a long time, and I’m already looking forward to the next time we meet up. 😊

I’m having such a lovely time with my friend from Australia! 🇦🇺 It’s been wonderful spending time together, making memories and enjoying each other’s company. These are the moments you truly treasure. 😊

Autism and mental health awareness must go beyond hashtags. They must include listening to the people living these experiences every single day. 1/8 🧵

Let's stop speaking about people without listening to them. Let's start listening, learning and standing together. Awareness is a beginning. Understanding is progress. And kindness can make a difference we may never fully see. 💙🧩❤️ #AutismAwareness #AutismAcceptance #MentalHealthAwareness

As an autistic person who has faced loss, bullying, isolation and mental health struggles, I know there can be so much pain behind what the world sees on the surface.

We never know how deeply our words or actions can affect another person. Something that seems small to one person can stay with someone else for years. That's why understanding, compassion and the way we treat others matter so much.

We may never fully know what someone has experienced, but we can always choose to treat them with dignity and respect. 🫶🏻❤️

Autism acceptance is about making room for people to be themselves. 💙🧩 It's about creating a world where different ways of thinking, communicating and experiencing life are welcomed, and where nobody feels they have to hide who they are to belong.

Being autistic is part of my story, and sharing my experiences is one way I hope to make a difference. 💙🧩 I know I can't speak for every autistic person, because we're all individuals with our own experiences.

But I can share my journey, help others understand autism a little better, and hopefully encourage someone else to feel less alone. Sometimes, sharing our stories can help others see the world a little differently. ❤️

We all have our own ways of communicating, expressing ourselves and experiencing the world. What comes naturally to one person might be difficult for another, and that's okay. Taking the time to understand our differences can help us connect in ways we might never have expected.

Behind this photo is my story a journey of loss, struggles, resilience and hope. I've chosen to turn my pain into purpose by sharing my experiences to raise awareness, inspire others and remind anyone struggling that they're not alone.

Our struggles don't define our worth, and our stories have the power to make a difference. Please choose kindness. You never know what someone is going through or the battles they face behind closed doors. 💚 #WorldMentalHealthDay

💚 World Mental Health Day 💚 Behind every smile is a story, and behind some smiles are battles the world may never see. You never know what someone has been through, what they’re struggling with, or how much strength it takes just to keep going.

A message, a kind word or simply showing someone they matter can make more of a difference than you realize. Be the reason someone feels less alone. You never know when they might need it most. 😊 #WorldMentalHealthDay

Absolutely, Harry! Disabled people deserve to be listened to, understood and supported in ways that recognize their individual needs and circumstances. We need to keep raising awareness and working together to make a difference. The message is stronger together. 😊

The system should work for disabled people too.

Imagine being able to show up as your true self without feeling the need to hide the parts of you that make you who you are. To feel comfortable being yourself, knowing you don't have to pretend to be someone else to fit in. There's something special about being accepted for who you truly are.

Everyone deserves to feel like they belong. To feel heard, to feel understood, and to know they can be themselves without worrying about being judged. Sometimes, feeling accepted for who you are can mean more than words can ever explain.

You don't have to change the whole world to make a difference. Sometimes, a few kind words, a little encouragement or letting someone know they're not alone can mean more than you realize. Never underestimate the positive impact you can have on someone else's life.
