I'm on vacation this week, so naturally I'm spending time working on my side project, Breakwater. :) Here's what Claude has built for me in the past couple of days:

Claude + superpowers to create the code, Codex to review it, and Claude-generated walk-through videos to help me verify it. Super fun. :)

⎈ Helm charts and OCI artifacts, including cosign signatures and SBOMs served through the OCI referrers API 🧱 License tag patterns now apply to image layers as well as tags 📦 Customers can browse the tags they're licensed for and see their pull history

👥 Team roles that follow IdP groups, from SCIM or from sign-in claims 🔑 License key revocation through signed status checks, so apps learn a key was revoked and renewed keys refresh themselves 📬 Reminder emails before a license expires ...

🔐 Two-factor auth (TOTP) with backup codes 🏢 SSO for vendor teams over OIDC and SAML, with just-in-time provisioning and an option to require SSO 🔄 SCIM provisioning so Okta and Entra ID can add and remove people, and removed people lose access right away ...

Love it!

HoneyBadger and Chatbase and iSH app all working together on my phone with Claude is like a whole dev setup in a handheld device. It’s wild. I can code through Linear and review it and do everything in the palm of my hand now. Strange times for berry club y’all #dev #code #ai

Agreed! The peeps are awesome on Bluesky. :)

The real tell that Bluesky feels like OG Twitter... I just had an extremely interesting real call with @bencurtis.com Interesting people. Interesting topics. Positive environment. Need I say more?

My wife and I may not agree on everything, but we agree on the important things… like which way the TP roll is oriented. 😉

Claude + Honeybadger is like peanut butter and chocolate. I got a Honeybadger alert, and asked Claude, "find out what's going on with [HB error URL]". It did its MCP thing, figured out and fixed the problem, and included this tidbit in the analysis:

"the whole query aborted. It wasn’t caused by the deploy that happened two minutes earlier — the combination just hadn’t been requested before (the request came through the API from user X" Nice :)

Prairie Dog is getting more and more handy... now I'm using it to clean up long-neglected PRs in addition to managing the flurry of PRs that Claude is creating.

We've had a significant uptick in the number of pull requests needing to be reviewed at Honeybadger in the past few months, thanks to Claude. It's cool to be shipping more stuff, but it can also be a lot sometimes. So I had Claude build an app to help keep tabs on all of them 😁 prairiedog.app

prairiedog.appPrairie Dog — the lookout for your team’s pull requestsOne dashboard that answers “what needs my attention?” — reviews waiting on you, approved PRs ready to merge, stale branches. Installs as a GitHub App.

With the Honeybadger MCP, resolving bugs is as simple as asking Claude to resolve fault X. The next thing you know, you have a PR. Love it. :)

I'm wondering whether I'll leave the building even once while I'm at RubyConf this week due to the heat. :) Either way, I'm looking forward to it!

I'm wondering how to contact my helpdesk provider about their helpdesk product not working (and yes, their status page is all green) ... how's your Friday? :)

Absolutely loving using feature flags (Flipper) to get feedback from beta customers on new features in Honeybadger. And it's easy to sync the "launch" of a feature with an update to the docs. :)

For everybody who's missing FounderQuest, here's a guest pod appearance for you. ;)

What does @honeybadger.io do? Find out on our latest ep with founder @bencurtis.com www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqV1... open.spotify.com/episode/4KcG...

My favorite safari trick: opening a bunch of tabs, shift clicking to select them all, then dragging them all off to make a new window.

You gotta watch this… it’s cool

Your metrics are green. No errors, no downtime, latency looks fine. Except 22 carts got abandoned last week because checkouts were slow for some users. Kevin used Claude + Honeybadger's MCP server to find the pattern. Watch it in action: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWGk... #observability #devtools

I’m tracking events in Breakwater with Honeybadger Insights, and I wanted to know how my periodic background jobs were doing, so I used the Honeybadger MCP server in Claude Code with this prompt: Can you show me the last few job executions from Honeybadger Insights for this project? ...

It used the MCP server to get the project list, found the project, looked up the Insights query syntax, ran a query to find the event types, found ActiveJob events, and then ran a query to get those events. It gave me a list the last 20 job executions from the past 24 hours and then summarized: ...

“Three jobs are running on a regular schedule: - LicenseStatusTransitionJob - runs hourly on the :00, typically 70-145ms - ... Everything looks healthy - all jobs are executing on schedule with consistent durations and no errors in the last 24 hours.” So cool :)

Coincidentally, Claude was helping me with a Faraday upgrade yesterday, and it discovered forks for convertkit-ruby that I could use to fix a dependency issue, so this was top of mind when I read Andrew's post. :)

It’s fun to tell Claude, "ship it", and watch it commit, push, and open a PR. I just did that for my latest blog post about using AI to build Breakwater, an app for managing licensing and access control for Docker container distribution: www.bencurtis.com/2026/01/buil...

bencurtis.comBuilding Breakwater with AI - Ben CurtisWhat used to take weeks now takes hours. I used ChatGPT and Claude Code to design and build Breakwater, and the results have changed how I think about shipping software.
