Interesting, after correcting some anti-vax fuckwits on Facebook I no longer have access to it. Sounds like a potentially good feature if it could be used against ACTUAL SPREADERS OF MISINFORMATION. It could also be for the "fuck you" I gave to someone who equated autism with brain damage.

Interesting, I've been restricted for "spamming", despite doing no such thing. I could understand if I copy/pasted the same thing to several people but that's not the case. At least I have access to my account again, and more importantly, my business page.

Maybe of interest to no-one but just finished the structure for a new temporary shed to store stuff. Vastly superior to the previous one since I have some engineering knowledge now, this one could probably withstand a hurricane.

Been clearing out a huge area of grass/weeds at the front of the house today when I heard squeaking at my feet. Looked down and saw these precious 3 babies just out in the open. No sign of their mother despite searching, so we'll have to wait until night to see if she makes an appearance.

With my car being out of service for a few weeks it's been a long time since I've been to see the strays. I finally went back today, and saw Missy! It made me so happy to see this little stray angel again, and I think she was happy to see me (or the food I brought).

Started changing the timing belt on my car about 3 weeks ago, and disaster struck when I stripped the head of the screw that needs to be removed to insert the TDC timing tool, resulting in me having to drill and tap a new thread... and the insert subsequently dropped a piece of metal in the engine.

8. ... reinstalled about a billion parts that I had previously had to remove, like the starter, radiator, etc, filled it with coolant, AND IT STARTED. It's been a real nightmare but it's finally over, and I have my car back.

Ah crap I forgot to mention how when I installed the insert for the new threads I dropped a piece of metal into the engine and that required another huge job of opening the engine. Oh well, you get the picture.

7. With herculean force managed to get the timing pin in the hole which was a struggle because the new hole I drilled didn't match up completely with the existing one, and managed to do the timing belt job, which was made very difficult by the stuck gasket behind the water pump, stuck on 19 years.

1. Remove engine mounts and timing belt cover. 2. Attempt removing TDC tool screw. Stripped head, fuck. 3. Spend many, many hours trying to remove screw through various means, including grinding the sides flat to turn it with tool that wouldn't fit. Eventually gave up and ordered a welder.

4. After a few evenings I finally managed to weld a nut onto the bolt, and got it loose, although in the process I damaged the original threads. 5. Ordered an M10x1.25 tap and when it arrived I drilled and tapped a new hole. The thread pitch turned out to be wrong, because fuck me that's why.

I had to remove the oil pan and replace the oil pan gasket, which was a huge job because standard tools can't remove some of the bolts without removing certain things like the driveshaft (no thanks), so I had to improvise my own tools.

It's taken forever (with having a full time job in between) but I finally got the job done last night. It's taken a lot of stress and effort, but it's all done now, and I've learned how to weld too which is pretty cool.

Fed this cutie today with the others. Missy is getting very large, probably just a few more weeks until the birth of the kittens who will almost certainly not survive. I'm pretty sure these cats all have FeLV, meaning I can't risk bringing any of them home.

Went to feed the cats again this afternoon, and encountered Missy, but sadly not her sister who has most probably died. She was very unwell when I last saw her. I wish I could do more for these babies.
