Comic-reviewer, writer, Jewish, intersectional feminist, liberal. If ur a fascist anti-Semite miss me with that bs. Love female led comics, Wonder Woman, & Kitty Pryde. Currently obsessed w/ the 80’s & 90’s post-Crisis Wonder Woman & Superman comics. 🏳️‍⚧️

God, I miss two of the 90’s best teen team books. If you don’t believe me, check out #Gen13 & #DV8 for yourself. You’ll thank me for it. Ugh. Why’d Jim have to sell #WildStorm to #DC? They’ve squandered this brilliant universe! #Justice4WildStorm

If we can 17 Captain America’s, 89 Wolverine’s, and multiple Spider-Men, and an actual Corps of Capt. Britains, why can’t we have 2 Psylocke’s? At least give the original the name back.

I need a writer who can put #DarkAngel on a higher level. So full of potential, plus we need more female villains who can go toe to toe with DC’s finest.

I HATE AI theft of artwork. That being said, I do like that someone used it to enhance this image. I just wish I could find the actual physical poster to buy.

Who I wanted to be when I grew up. When I first started reading Wonder Woman growing up was my safe place. I think it’s amazing that the world’s first super heroine is such a queer icon.

In the post No Man’s Land Gotham City we lost Batman’s third official solo, Shadow Of The Bat, only to gain Batman: Gotham Knights, by Devin Grayson & Dale Eaglesham. GK felt like a Brave & the Bold, Bat-family type, but was it a good replacement for SotB?

As a gay white man, I will always be an ally to women and the black community. Especially black women. These groups were my biggest supporters, and friends. When white str8 people came for me, they were always right there to show up and let me know I’m gonna be alright. I may be gay, but I’m also

A white man, who comes a certain agency that women, and the black community do not. I’m not gonna fail the communities that was there for me in some of the scariest, darkest periods of my life. I might not be here had they not picked me up when I was at my lowest.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on #DanJurgens run on #JusticeLeagueAmerica? Personally it’s one of my favorites, if only because it brought #Maxima into the League, and the greater DCU.

Favorite writer/artist #Superman creators from the post-Crisis era to the end of the #Triangle era? John Byrne? Jerry Ordway? Dan Jurgens? And while he wasn’t the penciller, Karl Kesel did ink his work, so I’m including him here.

Maxima up in here give you Galinda under the sea realness, henny. Lil Mermaid AND Lori Lemaris could NEVER. She’s flashy, fishy, and fly. #ItsMaximaBitch

While Donna is still the first, and best Wonder Girl, anyone feel like DC robbed Cassie in the 90’s? I mean, her male Young Justice peers all had ongoings, but nothing for her? I mean, they gave ANIMA (horrible book) an ongoing, but nothing for Cassie? Shame DC.

What’s your Favorite #PostCrisis #DetectiveComics run? Barr/Davis? Grant/Breyfogle? Dixon/Nolan? Rucka/Martinbrough? Rucka/Castillo? Gabrych/Woods? Dini/Kramer? Rucka/WilliamsIII? Snyder/Jock? I gotta say, despite a few missteps along the way, Tec had one of the strongest post crisis runs. Thoughts?

It’s the #Scarecrow’s 85th anniversary! Let’s discuss some of your favorite tales featuring him! What was your first introduction to him? Jim Balent ‘s take on Dr. Crane has always been one of my favorites! Same with Kelley Jones’! #Batman/Scarecrow

Moench & Kelley’s post #Knightfall #Batman was dark & paranoid. A conspiracy monger, & I loved it. Probably one of my top 5 Batman runs of all time.

1997 & 1999 were banner years for #DCComics. After years of…whatever #JLTF & #ExtremeJustice was, they handed the keys to their premiere team, the #JLA to Grant Morrison & Howard Porter who brought the team into the 21st century. Grant took silver age stories but put their own cracked out pt 1

Concept they’d reimagine. Unable to use #Hawkman after the end of his last series, brought us the rogue Angel #Zauriel, where we’d get the iconic battle with #Superman vs an Angel, giving us a hell of a battle for the ages. It wouldn’t stop there. We’d get a revamped Starro, & a #DOFP-esque pt 3

Tale, that involves the #InjusticeGang, #Darkseid, #JemmSonofSaturn culminating in what many consider to be the absolute zenith of stories for the #JLA.

Perspective on these missions. First up: the White Martians. First created in 1969, the White Martians were but a footnote in the DC cosmology until Grant dusted them off, & created one hell of a kick ass opening team for the World’s greatest superheroes. But that wouldn’t be the only silver age pt2

When I was a kid, Mike Deodato’s Wonder Woman was all the rage. When I re-read it as an adult, I finally saw how awful this was. Even my bootchiekat gets chafed from the spandex shorts era. #SavetheBootchieKat

Rounding out the #Trinity! What’s your 4 favorite #WonderWoman stories? Unfortunately Diana doesn’t have a whole lot of character defining stories, so I guess, other than her origin stories, what are your personal favorites? Be inventive!

4 favorite #Batman deep dive stories? Same as the Superman question. No Year One’s, Dark Knight Saga, Long Halloween, etc. Let’s also keep this to just Batman, and not those several other characters in the Bat family stable.

Favorite 4 deep dive #Superman stories? I don’t want to see the constant All-Star, Alan Moore, Death/Reign/Return stories that often bog down these topics. Be creative! Share something that’ll make others see what you saw to begin with!
