It’s a constant delight that every fan can see clearly what’s wrong at United except United fans themselves. Cheering a poor, failing manager cos he was a good player decades ago and is trying to instill a mythical “United Way” back to a club that thinks it’s too big to fail.

Flo Wirtz, quietly scoring us the winner tonight. Keep going, kid. Looking forward to ordering a truckload of humble-flavoured pie for some of the non-believers.

I never want to see any of our players struggling, suffering and making bad mistakes, or watch the team easily go 2 or 3 goals down like that. But, overall, these games where we concede too much and still come out with points, are very good for the team's resolve & belief going forward. Up the Reds!

Hearing the commentator say stuff like "Nyoni intercepts it brilliantly and passes it on to Ngumoha who beats his man easily and races into the box...." is such a beautiful thing to listen to. We've some truly fantastic young lads playing for us.

It's a national disgrace that that colossal wanker Matt Hancock was able to waltz out of politics, reinvent himself as a simple man-in-love, and build a massive personal fortune after being so instrumental in causing such unlawful human damage while leading that corrupt covid government.

The Covid Inquiry’s Module 6 report is devastating. Its central conclusion: adult social care was treated as “something of an afterthought”, while “protecting the NHS” sometimes came at the expense of people receiving and providing care. 1/10

I watched Bond films with my girlfriend at the cinema. We became obsessed with those guys, making up whole mundane lives for them. Wondering how the job interviews went. How they told their wives they were working on the oil rigs but were actually doing 3 weeks on, 1 week off on Scaramanga's island.

You know who City players & fans are? They're the uniformed, nameless guys who guard the secret HQ of the villain in every James Bond movie. The ones who MUST know they're working for the bad guys but will protect them anyway cos it's a well paid cushy position. Till Bond comes along that is.

The obvious problem, though, is that City fans think that THEY, the club, are actually the James Bond character. A maverick good guy, ignoring all the rules, causing chaos & destruction, but only in order to bring down the evil, corrupt establishment and its criminal networks.

I'm not saying that Chris Kavanagh is a cheat or even knowingly corrupt but I do think he's a very poor referee & that there's absolutely no way anyone can come from Manchester & not have an inherent dislike or feeling of competition towards Liverpool as a whole. The cities are deep rivals. #PGMOL

Liverpool owners now worth about $350 BILLION, 2nd only to Newcastle, and worth absolutely miles and miles more than the owners of everyone else. Imagine of they did decide to let owners put in to their clubs what they wanted.

Not that I'd be in any way ok with it, no one's pointing out that if City are successful in their appeal, all charges are dropped, & spending rules changed then this would allow all clubs to spend whatever they want. Liverpool are now by far the 2nd wealthiest club in the league, dwarfing City etc.

Some INSANE media narrative this.... "City's first game since being found guilty...ended in victory as they outclassed Liverpool at Anfield" "They really delivered today against the noise and that was a perfect game" "We should be able to praise the win without the thing in the back of your mind"

"A lot of Liverpool fans have started to leave. They have seen enough and they are not happy with what they have seen" "It's been a very impressive performance. Liverpool aren't anywhere near them. There's a gulf between these teams" "Liverpool are an easy touch" "City ran out deserved winners"

The celebratory media narrative and rewriting of what we just saw with our own eyes is absolutely astonishing and highly concerning. City were largely outplayed and easily handled until they controversially got the man advantage. They’d had 1 shot on target and that was miles outside the box.

I’m delighted that so many of the lads turned up today and put a really good shift in. Grav, especially, was outstanding and Liverpool were the better team until the red. Still a lot to do but definitely deserved something from the game, farcical or not.

Ashton is 6 mile to the east of central Manchester, a bit further east than the Ethiad (formerly known as Eastlands). He grew up just 5 miles away from the stadium, in fact. And he did some of his FA training with the Manchester FA at the Etihad campus. But zero affiliation. None. Not even possible

Stephen Warnock: "A lot of Liverpool fans have started to leave. They have seen enough and they are not happy with what they have seen". What do you think they're not happy with seeing, Stephen, you colossal dickhead?

I take some comfort in knowing that Klopp's 2018-2020 team would have been 5-nil up on these chancers before half time. This, today, is a farce of existential proportions. You can only laugh about it. They'd better get their true comeuppance, the disgraceful cunts.

It feels like a tough ask based on the weakened line up, but a win against the cheats would be massive for the new group, the new coach to build genuine momentum. Would also take us up to 4th in the table on 12 points, just 3pts off the top. Come on Reds!

Ha ha, just seen Hendo’s goal celebration. It never changes. Goes from jogging off calm as you like (like he does this all the time) to cupping his ear at the fans to yelling a massive, angry fuck you to everyone in the ground.

I just heard that Ronald Drump isn’t impressed by this year’s Nobel Peace Prize winner. Well, through an absolute wild stroke of luck, I met her today and I can tell you that Navi Pallay is actually an extremely impressive and formidable person. Everything he’s not, funnily enough.

Just happened to be in Nürnberg and trying to have a nice peaceful hotel breakfast when the actual Nobel Peace Prize winner sat on the next table for an interview. Literally can’t have a more peaceful breakfast than that. Had a chat afterwards, she was great.
