OK, I think I have this “Social Media” thing figured out now so I can participate. I am “Social” with others in Virtual Reality (judge me if you must) and reluctant to visit the seniors centre in real life because at 74 I don’t feel old enough. It was mid summer when this journey ended in my garden. I have watched this video many times and each time I see something new. As the summer comes to a close I wonder about a snail’s future and will it be with us next year. My mom is now 96.

I don’t expect the US to get any better, and I don’t think Canada will get worse, at least in my lifetime. From 1951 till I stop breathing, politics has been a tough experiment in organizing and selectively leading. We use the best and worst our breeds have to offer to make good and bad decisions.
