Bex Rolls Dice

As the nights draw in, and the weather turns, there's no game better to feel the chill with than the awesome Frostgrave from @ospreygames.bsky.social Pick up your rulebook in store now, and let's get some games planned!

Why do I always pick the most ridiculous painting projects, and then find a hundred ways to make them even more complicated? #miniaturepainting #wargames #ttrpg #reaperbones

Glad I went with gold for this detailing work in the end! I feel like the off-white Nighthaunt I'm putting on it will really pop next to it. #paintingminiatures #miniaturepainting

Got some of the wood detail done on the bottom section, and I'm happy with how it's looking so far. My plan is for it to be a haunted ship, filled with frolicking #warhammer #Nighthaunt ghosties. #paintingminiatures #miniaturepainting

And so it begins. Thoughts and prayers gratefully accepted during this trying time. #miniaturepainting #paintingminiatures #tabletopwargaming

It's finished and in the cabinet at work! It looks so bright and shiny in the photos, it's weird. It's much nicer in person, a bit more muted and matte! #paintingminiatures #miniaturepainting #babayaga

Got the rat ogre and Baba Yaga's Hut finished today! And I've already started writing my next #ttrpg idea! It's been a good day. #ttrpgcommunity #warhammer #bloodbowl #miniaturepainting

Spending some hours painting and watching #miniaturemasters as a reward for finishing a manuscript yesterday #warhammer #skaven #squidmar #warhammer40k

If you see this, post your getaway vehicle! #warhammercommunity #warhammeraos #warhammer

Who fancies a bit of chaos? 😉

We finally got the head! #callofcthulhu #CoC #ttrpg #ttrpgcommunity

Managed to get a bit of lichen and some fallen leaves on today. I'm liking how it's going so far. #miniaturepainting #reaperbones #wargames #wargaming #tabletopminiatures

Anyone who knows me knows I'm inept when it comes to online stuff. Yet, somehow, I just set up a monthly email newsletter AND subscription form for the shop. Yay! 😀😀😀 If you want monthly updates on the happy chaos that is Roll-It, subscribe via the new form at www.roll-it-scarborough.co.uk

Decided to change the whole colour scheme on Baba Yaga's Hut into something more autumnal. I'm planning on adding a lot of moss and fallen leaves, along with tiny pumpkins on the doorstep. #paintingminis #minipainting #reaperbones #painting #modelpainting #tabletopwargames

Had a wonderful day celebrating 5 years of Roll-It! We have such a beautiful community there! #ttrpg #cthulhu #mtg #magic #wargaming #warhammmer

What's the most irrational thing that you find creepy, scary, or downright disturbing? I don't mean like spiders, or heights, or clowns, I'm talking ridiculous fears. Mine is shown below. They're just absolutely unnecessary.

Who here is a fan of the brilliant #Frostgrave from @ospreygames.bsky.social ? It's almost time for me to start my yearly new warband and I need to see some inspiration! Show me your warbands! Here are 2 of mine - necromancer mummy's and a deadly gingerbread gang.

And now for some #VtM #ttrpg #ttrpgcommunity #VtM #vampirethemasquerade

A spot of games design with a friend this morning, before the shop gets busy. #gamedesign #ttrpg #trrpgcommunity #indiegamedev

Just submitted to some agents who are looking for #horror novels. After parting ways with my last agent, I'm giving the traditional route one last go. I'll look at self-publishing if I don't get anywhere. Because what's the point of a story if nobody ever reads it? #writing #writingcommunity

He was once knee-high to a Space Marine. He is now pauldron-high to a Space Marine. How time flies.

So how's everyone's day been? #ttrpgcommunity #ttrpg #lgs

Look at the absolute BARGAIN my friend Ian picked up for me at Continuum!

It's all looking so pretty! #lgs #wargaming #armypainter

I finally gave in and got Warhammer at the shop 😂 #lgs #warhammer #warhammer40k #warhammeraos #warhammercommunity #wargaming #tabletopminiatures

2000 words done on my current #wip #ttrpg today, despite having a banging headache all day. I'll take that as a win. #ttrpgcommunity #indiegamedev

Some great games on the shelves here at Roll-It right now, courtesy of the mighty @ospreygames.bsky.social ! #lgs #flgs #rpgcommunity #ttrpg #ttrpgcommunity

This heat has turned my customers funny. Took them 20 minutes to buy every single booster pack in a new Final Fantsay box. Usually only takes them about 10. #mtg #magicthegathering #flgs #lgs

As a creature of shade and shadow, this menace of a heatwave is the perfect excuse to stay home and work on my latest #ttrpg! But why is it that sorting one mechanic creates another three? Send help. And coffee. And jelly babies. Please and thank you. #ttrpgcommunity #indiegamedesign

Your weekly reminder to go grab a copy of my debut RPG from @ospreygames.bsky.social now!

Look at all the Mystery stuff we have! There's dice, and pin badges, and even a Hero for your next adventure! www.roll-it-scarborough.co.uk

In my happy place at my shop, enjoying the calm before the storm (the Magic players arriving 😂) with some coffee and a bit of work on my current #ttrpg #wip. Hope your mornings are going well, too 😉 #ttrpgcommunity #ttrpgdesign #lgs #indiegamedesign

I never take stock from the shop, but this Mothman from the Squishables range is really testing my resolve. #lgs #smallbuisness #ttrpg

Finally got some more Mystery items listed on the website! #lgs #ttrpg #dice #ttrpgcommunity www.roll-it-scarborough.co.uk/store?fbclid...

❓️Do you like a bit of chaos? ❓️Do you enjoy the occasional shenanigan? ❓️Do you have a great poker face? ❓️Do you like being every bit as devious as your characters? If so, then grab yourself a copy of my #ttrpg from @ospreygames.bsky.social ! www.ospreypublishing.com/uk/two-sides...

More playtesting yesterday! I'm working on the final stages of 3 boardgames at the moment, and hoping to get them all played this week. #lgs #ttrpg #ttrpgcommunity #boardgames #indiegamedesign #gamedesign #boardgame

Starting the week as I mean to go on - with lots of playtesting! #ttrpg #ttrpgcommunity #indiegamedev #boardgames #gamedesign

One of my customers is slowly collecting the whole range of #Discworld #miniatures and sending them to me to paint. This is the latest batch, which I posted out to him today! They're a lot of fun to work on. #miniaturepainting #wargamers #wargaming #pratchett #ttrpgcommunity

Time for a bit of Bank Holiday painting! #ttrpg #ttrpgcommunity #miniaturepainting #miniatures #wargamers #wargaming

The tiles are done! I'll be highlighting the wood next. #ttrpg #ttrpgcommunity #wargames #wargamer #miniaturepainting #miniatures

Didn't have much painting time today as the shop was too busy, but I did get a couple of extra colours on the roof tiles. #miniaturepainting #wargames #wargamer #ttrpg #ttrpgcommunity

A great playtest today! Even though I had my leg stolen 3 times! 😂 #boardgames #gamedesign #indiegamedesign #ttrpg #ttrpgcommunity

Got some colour on this morning! I want this piece to match my Black Coach, so I'll be sticking with monochrome wood (which I'll highlight up soon), along with pops of bright accent colours - namely purple and teal/blues on this one. What a gorgeous model it is! #wargames #miniaturepainting

Can't wait to get started on this bad boy tomorrow! #miniaturepainting #tabletop #miniatures #wargame #wargamers #reaperminiatures #babayaga

I finally decided to create the brand for my own games that I've been thinking about for ages. I spent yesterday coming up with a name, logo, and starting work on a website. The first game to be released under it will be Bodysnatchers. I'm very excited! #ttrpgcommunity #ttrpg #gamedesign

Ran Cthulhu this morning to start my shop's One Shot Weekender. Players found themselves facing a fate worse than death at the hands of the malevolent Dr Reilly. There's Traveller happening now, and Those Dark Places (by @jonmarkhicks.bsky.social, available at @ospreygames.bsky.social) on later

This is where I shall be spending my evening. And I'm pretty happy about that. #miniaturepainting #reaperbones #discworld
