RE Kiss. One of the saddest things I've ever seen on TV. The great Henry Rollins had a show, half talk, half music. Like most punk rockers, Henry was enamored with Kiss and had Gene Simmons on to chat. All Henry's idol wanted to talk about was $$. Henry was crestfallen Fuck Gene Simmons

SPRINGSTEEN, on tour in the UK: “.. "In my home, the America I love, the America I’ve written about, that has been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous administration." @variety.com variety.com/2025/music/n...
As one of the first 10 or so employees of Ticketmaster (way before they turned into the Evil Empire), it's hard to express how much this saddens and sickens me. www.ticketnews.com/2025/04/live...

Screw the Wolf Blitzers of the world and screw the CNN/NY Times both siders. The only 2 "mass media" journalists who are telling us the truth are @steveliesman.bsky.social and @carlquintanilla.bsky.social- both, go figure, are at CNBC. Props to them

A tip of the hat to Carl Quintanilla. @carlquintanilla.bsky.social I'm blown away that he is still employed at CNBC. He's the only one in the Comcast world who seems to be telling the truth without fear of reprisals. Unlike say Rachel Maddow who told us Joy Reid left on her own accord.
Just a reminder. Anything hidden behind a paywall on Bluesky can be opened using archive.ph or any other archiving website.
All workers, be they writers, musicians or cab drivers, should be paid for their work. BUT (there's always a "BUT") when links to a story on social media are behind a paywall, my first thought is "fishing for subscribers". Which is why I have no problem recommending archive.ph
You are up to date.
