#LosAngles, #NoKings. I didn't feel physically up to a trip to DTLA today. So I went to the No Kings rally in Torrance. It was a lovely, joyful time, with no visible law enforcement. Of course I knew my glow would be harshed. We don't get nice things for long here.

#NoKings. I think carrying the flag upside down today was a very valid choice. At the No Kings rally today I carried mine right side up because it's Flag Day, my flag was given to me for service by the Army National Guard after my first foreign deployment, and that's what felt right to me, for me.

ICE protests. Court has denied immediate injunction and set arguments for Thursday. How nice to get the news in such a timely fashion. Is anybody believable covering the courts?

Los Angeles protests. I was hoping California National Guard troops would not be deployed in my city, but some have. The one clear vehicle marking I was able to see in the tv footage was B Company, 1/185th Infantry, which Wikipedia says is based in Riverside. There are guard troops much closer.
