I got a letter explaining why my insurance denied my ADHD assessment form. It's because the psychiatrist didn't specify it was necessary to diagnose a condition THAT IS THE ONLY REASON THE FORM EXISTS I hate the broken insurance system, we need universal healthcare

Quick update: Getting assessed for mental health things has turned into fighting my insurance company, which doesn't help my mental health :') But recovery is going well! Still have reduced energy and braining ability, but I'm learning what kind of rest works best for my needs, and that's amazing^^

I don't think there'll be a video this week because mental health and life again. Next week is iffy, too, but in large part because I'm going to start seeing a new psychiatrist which will cause some rough times in the short term but should be REALLY useful in the long term!

Things are hectic this week, so I'm not sure what day my next video will be up. Lots of stuff has been/will be messing up my sleep schedule, so I kinda have to do the survival mode thing until I can get one long sleep all at once again But once I do... Marshmallows will be had

Gonna be one or two more FFX2 episodes than I thought. I read that Via Infinito takes 1~2 hours to beat, but uh... I think that's if you run from all the unnecessary fights, and I don't :') At least I have an excuse to eat more marshmallows!

I just finished a whole episode in one day for the first time in MONTHS! Recorded, edited, thumbnailed, uploaded, descripted (yes I made that word up), and ready to go live in four hours! I'm not sayin' I'm fully back, but I'm at least somewhat back and it feels so good 😭

I was gonna record but ended decluttering my SSD. Went from "you monster, how could you" levels of full to "*slaps roof* this bad boy can fit so many gigabytes" And now that all my programs and games are more stable and faster, the YouTubening can continue! (After sleep, of course)

It took 4 hours to record an episode of FFX2 because of crashes, green screens, and a surprise superboss as a random encounter in a dungeon, and I'm so brain broken I'm on the verge of tearing up Lesson learned, the overwhelm needs to be listened to even if I really want to work on a video

Drawing practice tailored to ADHD and accompanying fine motor control problems is going well but is making me surprisingly sore! Six minutes of drawing lines using the little muscles it turns out I've never used properly and my arm was hurting in entirely new ways. Definitely gonna be a long process

The rebranding planning has begun! It's gonna involve more new art than planned with a BIG revamp of the Squirrell themself, so I'm starting some ADHD-friendly drawing exercises to get myself ready and finally improve my fine motor control issues^^ It'll take time but I'm RIDICULOUSLY excited!

I had energy to record a video, but then I had an OCD spiral that drained me. Sucks I couldn't record, but recognizing that I was spiraling, pulling myself out, and resting instead of making it worse by trying to push through is a HUGE mental health win and I'll take it^^

I got my new audio interface and got it set up. No audio issues over the last few hours, but I can't let myself relax because I've been fooled before :') I like the new one, though, it does a couple things the old one didn't. The mic monitoring is kinda ass, but otherwise it's good so far

Good news! (I think, unless something goes wrong again.) I'm pretty sure I found the root of the audio issues. After I spent hours last night overhauling my audio setup ._. Windows has a stupid setting that I have now turned off, and surprise upside, my new setup sounds a bit better than the last!

Go back this if you can, and spread the word if you want to support it but can't afford to pledge! Beloved Rapture was such a wonderful game, this one is definitely going be the same and I can't wait to play it!

Welp, news time again (please make it stop, I just want to make videos :')) I've had worsening issues with my audio setup. It seems a lot of programs and drivers updated at around the same time and now they aren't playing nice. Could take hours or days to fix, I have redo a LOT of stuff

I want to see more people ramble about thier ocs... I like reading about them.

Haha, I'm back on Bluesky on my computer! I found my list of passwords! (I write them all in little notebooks and then forget which safe spot I left them in^^;) More FFX2 coming this week as well :D Still need some brain recovery time, but I'm getting there faster than I expected^^
