I don't particularly do many things well enough to be interesting to other people, but I like to see what other people are up to. This page is mostly a list of media I have consumed and places I have been. I don't follow back.

There is just something ominous about this panel. I keep going back to it. There's just something there that I like visually. Poor Nene is really serious, but Mirai knows things aren't going to go well for her.

Finished "madoka magica". Trying not to sound like a psycho, but I find myself enjoying a story where death is on the table in a real way and not a red shirt way. I can see why people really like this one, it is really good and the visuals are unique. I might rewatch this one later.

Finished "Key the metal idol". The first 13 episodes were very lynchian. Episode 14 was 100 minutes of two guys on a park bench explaining the last 13 episodes. Jason Pargin claims a story doesn't have to make sense if it is entertaining. This one proves his thesis. Watchable nonsense.

Finished, "Hanaori-san Wants to Have a Fight Even If She Reincarnates". Super disappointed. Manic pixie dream girl as the romantic interest is fun brain candy. The choice to make it a student-teacher relationship was definitely a choice. I was ok if the relationship didn't progress, but it did.

The set up was perfect trope-y romcom stuff, but the author decided to lamp shade the heck out of everything. It kind of sucked the life out of everything. This could have been cute, but the author went try hard instead and I don't think it worked. I would skip this one.

I asked the new America.gov chatbot for the names of the characters of TBHK. It told me listing anime characters is not a function it can answer, so it "knew" it was an anime despite only having the title. My ADHD brain is like, challenge accepted.

Finished "All Purpose Cat Girl Nuku Nuku OAV". The voice acting by Megumi carries the show. The sub is worth listening to if you like good voice acting. Otherwise it is an non-offensive generic 90's anime. Episodes 4-6 have some sleezy fan service, unfortunately.

Someone coined the term "anime amnesia" for parts of media you were cool with or were oblivious to as an older teen that you aren't cool with anymore as an adult. Especially true with a older anime where the pervy dude is a common trope. I like the concept, but it needs a more inclusive term

Finished, "space patrol luluco". I wasn't expecting much, I just wanted some hot garbage to watch as I waited, and it delivered. The episodes are 7 minutes, but really 5 if you skip the intro and credits. More miss than but, but the afterlife sequence hit impressively well for what it was.

Finished the DNY infinite Castle 1. I didn't like it. Doma vs the butterfly house is, IMHO, the best sequence in the manga, and they divided it in half. Also, I like to watch 3 episodes of DNY and then rest, so 2 and a half hours was just too much for me. Akaza's story just dragged on

I finished "Zenshu". I think over an infinite time, the chance film students start filming themselves goes to 1. This is the anime version of that. I absolutely love the cubical magic girl transformation sequence. I think it is worth it for that alone. Not a must watch, but solidly watchable.

I also finished the first season of "Witch Hat Atelier". The hard magic system was neat. I HATED it, otherwise, tbh. I am just tired of the whole "you can get over your disabilities if you just try." plot. Maybe if it continues, gets more story and more lore, it will be better.

My garden is doing very well. I have a few yellow flowers on my cucumbers. They are getting pretty long as well. I didn't know what else to plant in the empty spaces, so I planted some honey rocks. Purple bell pepper is growing as expected. It is a slow one.

I looked at the dolphin, because I was curious. The dolphin looked at me, because she was equally curious about me. I think because I am a football player sized human and her trainers are fit average sized women. We just at each other for 5 minutes, just sharing the same feeling. It was crazy.

My garden is doing well. The cucumbers are hanging on there and even have a single bud that will become a cucumber. The purple pepper is also surviving. I ripped out the flowering onion, because I haven't seen a bee on it in a long while.

Keeping up on my garden. Out of 6 purple bell peppers, one has made it. 4 / 5 cucumbers made it. Planting from seed is rough. I have 3 empty spots. My last onion flowered, but every time I am out there I see a bee, so I left it.

I was playing piano and I noticed my Hanon was starting to get a little yellow around the edges, and I am like, man you look how I felt. And like, today, I just overheard a YouTuber having to research how people drank coffee before Starbucks. Chat, am I old now?

Finished watching season 1 of Clevatess. Too dark and violent for my tastes. Klen is a beast, so I wish he stayed monster-like the entire series, but it de-evolves into a standard power fantasy far too quickly. Still, I enjoyed it a lot, especially the immortal swoardswoman who still feels pain.

I think there is a huge missed opportunity that we called it vibe coding instead of Epimetheus coding. In fact, I kind of feel like Epimetheus should be the god of LLM, since AI seems to encourage hindsight rather than foresight.

Got my onion #Infowars shirt in the mail. I was hoping for a more heavyweight T. The shirt is so thin it is almost see through. More like an undershirt. It probably will end up in my rotation of shirts anyways, since it is going to be a hot summer.

My garden is planted for spring. My onions flowered, so I pulled them out. My spring crop is cucumbers and purple bell peppers, plus one onion that didn't flower. Idk what I want for fall yet. Maybe sprouts.

I made a comment as a joke, but as I think about it, Fight Club wouldn't be the same movie, but it would totally work if Tanya Durden showed up instead of Tyler Durden. I am not sure if I have ever seen a text where the unknown alter ego was the opposite gender.

Finished "The Sacred Blacksmith". Boob sock armor with jiggle physics is a new one for me. The world building is really good, but except for the last 3 minutes, there isn't any weight to the actions. Hoping for a peak that never happened. Definitely a tell, not show, kind of story. Meh overall.

Finished "shakugan no shana". The author uses too many hard resets, but otherwise it was super watchable. Definitely a feeling of deja vu with other series. Still, a solid "I am bored, like magic girls, and want something to watch" recommendation.

I try my hardest to be tech-neutral, but I really think I am experience AI slop fatigue. There is a sameness to AI art that is kind of getting to me a bit and I am getting bored looking at it. I also think AI artwork is unescapable at this point, so I don't think I can reset.

Sumo soup, Chankonabe, is delicious. I would open a restaurant with tatami mats and just sell bowls of soup for $3. Just sit on the floor and enjoy some soup.

Take a break from the discourse and quote this with a business you would want to start if you could afford to lose money on it

I have an AI pfp, but I can't seem to morally justify using it as a pfp vs stealing a piece of corporate artwork. I think morally the arguments are about the same. Not even mentioning that certain corporate artwork is now associated with certain movements I wish to avoid associating with.

This is a sort of irony here that the historic Jesus probably spoke Aramaic, so he would have called God, "Alah". And modern Christians getting upset with Trump using Allah. Not that it matters, since it was probably a gambling thing that Trump would say "Allah" on Easter.

I think the season is over, so its time to re-evaluate. 1. Complete failure, but this summer I am going to ride my longboard switch. 2,3. Success, but I need to unlock unstrapped heel side turns. 4. Failure, but I didn't try. 5. Semi-success. I need to strength train my sashay, though.

Snowboarding goals: 1. Go down switch at a reasonable speed. 2. Ride the express lift without falling at the end. 3. Ride all the blues. 4. Ride a box. 5. Stop zombie walking.

Writing cursive is one of those things that doesn't matter, but makes old people super angry. Like, my kid is in 7th grade, and cursive was optional, so it isn't like it went away.
