Mushoku Tensei's new season is ending today, which might've been the 2nd best anime this summer. Tensei Kizoku Kantei Skill de Nariagaru, which I really enjoy, has a new season starting as well. but my mind's still on Beatbreak.

Digimon Beatbreak's ending reminds me a lot of 02's, if compressed chronologically Digimon 02's ending is one of the most optimistic I've ever seen in anime and marked a move away from the depressing final parting (unless?) type common in '90s isekai. So this is a good thing.

3-2 today at locals in #pokemontcg with a deck I'd never played before at any level. And a 3-0 start as well. This shouldn't happen. Talonflame/Kangaskhan, despite all the mulligans, is legit and fun to play and I'll work on learning/improving the deck.

"Even if powerful humans and digimon try to stop us, the power of our bond will overcome them and change the world forever" is an old message in digimon... but still a powerful one, and #DigimonBeatbreak executes it really well. 10/10 show. Revolutio Rerum!

We have so many slow life isekai anime these days, and watching Mushoku Tensei, Rudeus would very much prefer to be in one of those. He gets involved in so much big deal type stuff but he just wanted a happy life with his isekai family... I feel so bad for his future version. ;_;
