Absolutely gutted is an understatement. Only known him online and we were going to meet up with the others this weekend, but things took such a dreadful turn. Still hard to believe that Linx is no longer with us. Absolute sweetheart, gem of a friend and wonderful company.

And having witnessed how much of the fur community has responded, I'm flabbergasted by how much of an influence he was. He was knowledgeable and possessed a great love for trains and taught others so much about them.

It warms me, albeit with a few tears, to see how loved he was by everybody, and how much love he's given to his circle of friends. Truly a wondrous example and role model for the community and it goes without saying, he will be greatly missed by all. Rest in Peace Linx. Godspeed you hecking legend.

Random shower thought: Saying 'Real men don't cry' is the equivalent of saying 'Real toilets don't flush.' They both deal with crap, and the waterworks help regulate and clear mind, body and...bowl. Apologies if TMI; thought the analogy was insightful at the time.

Why do employers straight up fib saying they'll be in touch but they just ghost you? A bit unprofessional imo. Not to mention all the red flag I keep spotting; am I at an interview or on one of those dates where the guy gets pissy if I mention taking time away with other people?

Thought I'd back this up as I hate to see how much this hurts people. In the heat of things like rejection and failure, the thought that you're not enough is at its most convincing. Many of us find it easy to look at others who learned to drive, learn an instrument...(Cont.)

I genuinely broke down crying while recording this… I keep seeing so many self deprecating comments and it breaks my heart to see people believing these LIES about themselves… #furry #furryfandom #littlealphapup #MentalHealth #cptsd

We can't afford to believe we're too far gone or it isn't going to change. To continue to move forward, face and learn from past experiences as well as remember those who stay with you and think no less of you for stumbling, I'd say is the biggest, bravest thing you can do for yourself.

And have all these friendships and connections etc. etc. and think 'God, I wish I was enough.' You're probably thinking 'Well I didn't get this job, I didn't get this relationship, or house or accomplish something big before my thirties so it must be true, I'm not good enough!' Rubbish. (Cont.)

Your failures are not proof of 'enoughness' or lack thereof. It's merely circumstancial evidence. The more I think about it, the more I think that 'good enough' is a concept derived and projected from the power-mad and insecure. Regardless of age or the numerous misfortunes you've faced (cont.)

Who needs loud, overstimulating discos when you can just chill and very casually move to the strum of the bard music? Probably why I love bardcore versions of songs.

When the bard drops that one right beat 🕺🕺

I even had a conversation with a family member about this last night which feels scarily coincidental but is starting to feel like a sign. Talking about how things used to be, and not enjoying certain things as much as we used to, e.g. video games.

Also! I'm not immune to the Nostalgic Feels! Understanding Nostalgia is "remembering without pain" and isn't "things in the past were better" is a huge mental shift we can all work on! I will always have the FEELS for Cedar Point Ride Host Summers and Peak Adler YouTube. But alas, new things!

I think I can agree that we need to find that delicate balance about looking back at the past. I know it's not always a good idea to dwell on it, but I'd like to think you can look back at simpler times, appreciating that they ever happened without wishing for them back all of the time.

I feel if there's a Meaning of life, for me anyway, it's about making memories. To smile about the things that happened and looking forward to what's yet to come. Things may not be that simple now, but when you open yourself to the possibilities, you'd be surprised what new things you can attract

I've honestly noticed this not long ago. I'm at that point in my life where I'm gaming less and reading more. I know it's easy to panic when things we used to love don't have as big a spark as they used to, but I just see it as a sign of much needed change, in pursuit of brand new passions.

Nostalgia is very often used as an excuse to not enjoy new things. The experiences and places you have loved in the past are going to change, and staying rooted in the "Good Ole Days" is a one way ticket to wishing your life away.

Guys, go get photos from this bean if you're going to cfz. Then you can show the photo to all of your friends and say 'Hey. Lookit me in this photo!'

Oh yeah, I'll be at CFz on the weekend days! If anyone does want some photos taken, let it be known! 👀📸 As always, examples of the things I take can be found at bwuff.com c:

Decided to buy a Polaroid printer that does sticker photos! I might visit some fur meets and take some for folks if they'd like a sticker of their fursuits in glorious Game Boy fashion!
