I pulled the last can of green beans from the supply shelf to feed my family tonight. Yes, I will be able to replenish on pay day (Friday) but the larder is pretty slim since paying our 2750 a month rent, leaving not much for supplies until the mid month pay day. And I know some have it worse.

So I think about those with a lot less, and I know I gotta do a lot more. I have prepared for this, I cook meals from scratch, healthy meals. It just feels like that ease is over. We will do more rice and beans. I am the prepared neighbor struggling to feed their family on a middle class wage.
