The People of Rome. I did make these slide images 40 years ago while visiting Rome with my high school class i 1986. I was just a young man age 18. The images has been stored in a box until last week. Then they was pulled from the dark and into the scanner. The past meets the present.

Summer break is here and this gave me time to develop and scan a role of Kodak Ektachrome slide film. The images is from the mid summer evening at June 23nd at Kastrup Strandpark, very close to where I live. Camera is a classic mid size (4,5x6) format camera. Enjoy the summer 😎🌞

This combined image is separated by 36 years. I have made both images with same black and white photo technique. It is the area of “Christianshavn” in the center of Copenhagen. The scene in 1989 was the closed ship engine factory B&W - Burmeister Wain. Now it is converted to residential area.
