Yesterday, @boom-studios.com took a stance against retailers using AI advertisements and uploading their covers to the slop factory. Amazing. More of this. The world may be falling for slop, but it needs to stay out of comics. We can fight for a small corner of human-made creativity.

Trying to shame industry legends because of how much they charge for sketches and remarks isn’t the flex you think it is. Gatekeeping is bad, but we have to keep making up criteria for what it means to be “indie.” Indie comics should not be about hating the success of others. Be better.

So I picked up the CRKD Gear Bag… it holds all my Nintendo stuff. Switch 1 and 2 (in their Nitro Decks) and my New 3DSXL. Plus room for some cables and a charger, and its got cartridge slots. Added clips so I can clip it to my EDC bag if I need to. It also fits Steamdecks and PS Portals!

I gained 20 YouTube subscribers yesterday by posting to all my outlets asking for subscribers (THANK YOU!). Asking followers to subscribe to your channels or mailing lists or social media platforms doesn't make you lame. You have to remind people you exist.
