For those scratching their head, note that the Apple A14 CPU (in the iPhone 12) was faster per-core than Intel's top end Core i9 10900K CPU. That is why Apple switched Macs to their own ARM-based Apple Silicon (the Apple M1 being an extended version of the A14 SOC).

I did not anticipate, in visiting the UK here in 2026, that by _far_ the internet content I would be seeing most is every website asking for cookie consent and photos of my govt ID at _every_ turn. It's nuts. Such extreme overreach. #onlinesafetyact #overreach #internet #www #UK #online #privacy

I see on mobile web (and far more dramatically in Reddit links opened in Fb Messenger), Reddit has really upped their effort to shove the horrifically shitty Reddit app down our throats. New Reddit is *BAD* -- but the app is another level. #reddit #fail #shite #uxui #apps #newreddit #fail

I was told you couldn't do 3D on the Playdate, so I did it. Then I was told there was no way I could create exterior levels like those in Mirror's Edge, so I proved them wrong again.
