What's up to everyone who followed me. I am still trying to figure out the best way to use this platform. I may drop some tech sales nuggets or just point What's on my mind

This is a therapeutic concept called removing expectations. Most people have unspoken expectations that lead to what you described

Call Me Coach@coachdeehale.bsky.social

To avoid disappointment, take people exactly as they are, instead of idealizing about what you wish they would be.

Just got recognition in front of the company for being a part of a deal that was the largest in company history for one of our newer products. #techsales

Sales engineering is the best gig I’ve ever had. All the parts about sales that I love, none of the parts I hate. I get to focus on solving customer problems, not chasing people or haggling over money.

I love my job. Nothing is better than working on deals. It's the prices I love the building the relationships, learning about customers' business needs and getting to explore the tech. Sales engineer life

If you are looking into being a sales engineer. One tip is to try to be paired in a one to one model. A lot of companies go the pool model, which means a sales engineer gets paid on all deals on the region. But when it's just you, you get all the commission. #techsales

I want to remind y'all that you can be pissed off about the state of what's going on in the world. And you should be! But don't forget to be a blessing to people in day-to-day life. People out there need you. Don't isolate and scream into a void on the internet.
