Wie steunt de fascisten, autocraten en dictators? De geschiedenis leert ons dat het juist de conservatieve elite is, grootgrondbezitters, industriëlen, adel, kerk en leger. Plus de petite bourgeoisie, de middenstand, ondernemers, kleine zelfstandigen, nationalisten, en conservatieve christenen.

The working class are the wealth creators, by making things and providing services. The people who own businesses make profit. That's not wealth creation. Banks and government create money not businesses. Giving them tax breaks etc just funnels that money out of the economy.

What is it about centrists that makes them so gullible? Everyone I know, knew Burnham would not be a left wing PM. He has never been left wing. He hasn't ever pretended to be. But loads of people just refused to believe that the widely predicted Thatcherite mess we see unfolding, was possible.

Drukken van zorgkosten? Kijk eens verder dan de zorg alleen. Mensen worden ook ziek en moe door een verpeste leefomgeving, qua gif, luchtvervuiling, pfas, schimmel, te warme/koude woningen. Stress door slechte arbeidsomstandigheden, armoede en afbraak publieke voorzieningen.

Halsema heeft helemaal gelijk en het parlement moet zich schamen met miskleun Van Weel voorop. Maar Halsema valt mij bitter tegen dat zij het behoud op recht op vrije meningsuiting en demonstratie niet met klem verdedigt voor de toekomst. Omdat het onderwerp de publieke opinie niet zint.
