First, they came for the undocumented, and a slew of Democrats voted for the legislation, because….swing districts. Then, they came for the transgendered, and every Democratic senator voted to confirm Marc Rubio, because…well, none of them are transgendered.

The overwhelming majority of ppl who employ undoc workers are republicans. Construction contractors, lawn care contractors, farmers, meat packing. They almost never face any conseq for breaking the law. Think of how sick a person is to entice workers with jobs and support a party that hunts them.

We accomplish this by showing up at our local Dem party meetings and demanding these actions happen. Politics requires participation and thinking that either party is going to “give” us better candidates is foolishness. We have to show up and be a part of the process, not just at the ballot box.
