Omg. Sewing tip saturday(?)!! Baste the seam allowance down before forming an elastic casing (or drawstring casing too i would say) so the elastic doesn't catch on it! Wow, i never thought about that but it's genius 😂👌

We raked 8 big paper bags worth of leaves... most of them from everyone else's maple trees 😂 three of our immediate neighbours have big maples. That's A LOT of leaves

Puppy hates her brush so much. The breeder suggested a $90 dollar brush and after seeing it in action, yeah i'm spending that. Hopefully she likes that one better 🫠

Cuffs!!! Not the best application, but fr this fabric is so annoying to manage when it's gathered this full 🫠 it will have to do haha, i'm not redoing them.

Sleeve 2 is done and it's seam is also bpund. Tomorrow i will do the peplum so i can finish the center front/collar edge. Then i need to convince myself to make the buttons and buttonloops so i can do the cuffs...
