Bluefire

Dragon problems. That mansion was already on fire when I got here, I swear!

My Bluefire VTubing avatar is alive! Still lots of tweaking to be done, but definitely useable for “video calls” on Discord.

Currently in the process of updating the avatar I use in VRChat (and soon also for some VTubing) since the base got updated. I have unlocked: snout horn!

Bipedal VRChat Bluefire says hello. *boops*

I haven't posted to Bluesky in ages. Neither am I am artist. And yet, I spent way too much time on a meme that only French Wii-playing dragons will understand. And I'm not even French myself. @rhaeloth.bsky.social thanks for enlightening me to the beauty of French. 🇫🇷

Some wacky things happen in multi-lingual countries like Belgium. Because you have no idea which language someone speaks, apps send out the same notification in multiple languages. Likewise, in Belgian cinemas, you will find that the subtitles consist of one line in French and another in Dutch.

The idea of a physical Draconic ID card has been living rent free in my head for a while now. I'm wondering what others think in regards to what technology it should have and what the price should be. "Validate your draconity with the Draconic ID Card, any time and anywhere." ✨

The most useful thing about the new Draconic ID API is linking to your avatar. Simply substitute the profile ID with your own (you can find it in the URL when you are on your profile's page): draconic.id/api/avatar?p... Nerd dragons rejoice!

A new update for Draconic ID is out! Here is what's new: - A collapsible "details" element is now available for profiles, ideal for longer pieces of text. - Mastodon icons now show for nearly all public Mastodon instances. - Several bug fixes. Thanks for using Draconic ID. 💙

It's been great to see you all on Draconic ID. The site is still very much a work in process, so if you have any recomendations or wanted features, please let me know!

We have just reached over 200 profiles on Draconic ID! Thank you so much! 💙

I was looking forward to reaching 100 dergs on Draconic ID. Never once was I expecting to far surpass it. o--o; It's been great having you all, connecting with locals and dragons who I've long not spoken with. Thanks for giving Draconic ID a chance. 💙

I caught up with the news. Fuck censorship and this puritanical bs. You know what, let's do a dual TF giveaway. The usual, like/repost/follow, and write here an idea for a TF with a friend of yours (plz tag them). Can be SFW, NSFW, micro, macro. I'll pick the winners next week!

Looking forward to the dragonkin meetup this weekend. Just finished writing a special guided meditation just for this occasion. 🔥

Finally! After struggling to go beyond the default cube and model the horn in Blender. After printing dozens of plastic blobs and prototypes. My horns are done and I can't wait to wear them! *insert obligatory horny joke* After an hour of wearing these, I will definitely feel phantom horns...

Feeling horny again. This time experimenting with ultra light horns. How light can I make them before they get too fragile? This iteration will have thin walls and no infill.

Working on my next wearable horn prototype. This time, I am testing a system that allows you to screw them on. It feels solid, though now I'll need to optimise the weight so the balance is better. Hope I make it before my next furry convention. And @rhaeloth.bsky.social, your horns are coming too!

I'm feeling horny today.

Just came back from #Castlefest! Wow, that was amazing. Reminds me a lot of MPS in Germany, which is the first event of its kind I attended. If you like medieval fantasy, this is the place to be! Great experiences, food, music and stalls.

My goodness, I did not know a different launcher could speed up your device and make it look sleek so much. I wonder if anyone recognises the font. 👀

A thing for a blue dragon @vendragon.bsky.social

Just upgraded my server with fresh drives and a UPS, now running #OpenMediaVault. My goodness, so many fun things to set up and play with right now... Just need a new modem, because the one my new ISP gave me is a bit too limiting (no bridge mode or NAT loopback). Luckily, I got a good deal on Ebay.

A friend got me this pin. He was surprised to find out I recognised where it's from: SCP-1762, Where the Dragons Went. Specifically, this video by Tale Foundry. One of the few videos that made its clickbait thumbnail "You Will Cry" come true. It's a wonderful and tragic story. youtu.be/mJW78y4CNIo

Aaah, the letter writing ritual... 💙

This is what B2, C1 and C2 German classes felt like to me.

Dragon statues in Barcelona, Spain. Or, at least, that's one way to call them. Some of these statues, though definitely not all, are more gryphon in appearance. It leads to an interesting discussion: at which point does something stop being a dragon? Is it purely arbitrary?

Here goes nothing — giving Bluesky a proper try! I will also see if cross-posting with Mastodon is possible, as both social networks seem interesting to me. Both come with their ups and downs. You can find me on Mastodon as bluefire@dragon.style if you are interested.
