Finally completed the Backpack review Series of videos and got the blog post all updated: hiking.kearan.net/2026/10/09/c... Camping.tools is a pretty cool site and has some good tools and more in development. The backpack is pretty great too!

hiking.kearan.netCamping.Tools Founders 48L Backpack: Unboxing, Fit Test & Trail Impressions - Bobby Kearan HikesCamping.Tools sent me their Founders Edition 48L backpack to evaluate. I start in the backyard with my Gregory Paragon 58, unpack everything, and see whether it all fits in the 48L. Then I take it on the Lewis and Clark Trail. On the same trail with about the same weight, I started feeling this pack at 4.25 miles. With my Gregory it was about 2.5. Disclosure: Camping.Tools sent me this pack to evaluate. 🔥 Camping Against Crime Campers know the rules of survival: Fire, Water, Shelter, Food. When people lack these basics, desperation takes over, and crime follows. Let’s apply the principles of survival to the fight against crime. Remove the desperation, reduce the crime.

The message from the White House this morning is that, once again, it falls on ordinary American citizens to remain calm and professional when dealing with the heavily armed agents of the government because they are very emotional and might fly off into a murderous rage at the slightest insult.

The United States is behaving like a rogue state. The President has carried out an illegal act of war, kidnapped a foreign head of state, and is now threatening military action against NATO allies. This is a constitutional crisis. Impeachment must be on the table.

Trump asked "Who's gonna stop us?" WE ARE. We, the People, will stop you. Not because we're your enemies. Not because we hate America. But because we love this country too much to watch it become what you're trying to make it.
