Without a hint of irony, today, the UK Chancellor declared if Scotland's oil money had been better invested there would be a trillion £+ sovereign wealth fund. - Unionists tell us Scotland would be ruined without UK support. Utter bastards. That's our kids futures they have helped themselves to!!

I'm against drilling for fossil fuels but isn't it odd* the BBC and Sky aren't mentioning in their reports about drilling in the Jackdaw gas field being approved that they told Scots loudly and repeatedly in 2014 that all the oil and gas would be gone within 5 years. *entirely predictable

On Question Time last night, I talked about the extractive economic model that has left Wales - and many other nations - impoverished *because they were so rich in resources*. You can see the problem simply by looking at the map: the infrastructure looks like a drainage system.
