Conservatives sure cant govern for shit. Neither a government or a personal life. They even fail at self serving many times because they are too small in their thinking and cant properly have a long view. Failures, frauds, freaks. Thats the GOP

A spider in my backyard is quite ambitious. It has crafted a yard spanning web strung between a fence, a bush, and a tree. I don't have anything to do back there at the moment, so happy hunting little one.

Sometimes when I'm doom scrolling, I think "humanity is a failed species." I dont really mean that though. We are an extraordinarily successful species obviously. We are just doing what every extremely successful species always does. destroying our environment to possible self extinction.

Save 30% on Lovish on Steam share.google/4ThrvMrgL9NK.... This is a new one I picked up when it went on sale. I expected a basic platformer to waste a little time. I got a tightly designed platformer that is a love letter and evolution to old school single screen platformers. Its also funny!

share.googleSave 30% on Lovish on SteamLovish is an outrageous 8-bit action-adventure game! Quest with Sir Solomon through a series of bite-sized rooms, as he attempts to free Princess Tsuna, the woman he loves, from the Devil Lord's clutc...

I don't really know how to handle living through the crescendo of the holocene extinction event. I have a daughter that I teach hope to, but I know about the no turning back markers we passed a while ago. Its hard not to feel doomed sometimes.

Been playing pathogenic to escape a bit from from 2026. Its a disease fighting game where you are the disease and you fight your way through the body. Good stuff for a jaded mind in need of catharsis.

Everyone is yelling back and forth about AC right now. As for me, I'm keeping an eye on food logistics. Climate change is undeniable at this point. It's going to get much worse. What primary food crop is going to start failing first? Over here it's looking like wheat. Dark times loom large.

Pretty safe to say at this point, Trump supporters and ice supporters have nothing behind their eyes. They are empty vessels that try to fill the void with hatred and greed. That's all they are. That's all they'll ever be. Cut them out of your life wherever possible. They only bring woe.

While I'm chewing through dungeon crawler Carl books,I take little detours with graphic novels. My most recent get is 'The Sickness'. A horror story about a mysterious illness that caused severe hallucinations and eventually, violence. A great slow burn with beautiful (and gross) art. #books

Murder by ice again. Extremely clear proof that it was murder, again. Immediate lies about it from the administration...again. untrained, uneducated and emotionally unstable apes are running amok in ice. American conservatives cannot govern, cannot create. They can only steal and destroy.

I'm a disabled man in Florida. I am so full of anger at what's happening in my country, and I'm doing what I can to protest it, but it feels so much like pissing into gale forced winds. I feel trapped in the cycle where idiots take power and ruin everything. Still, I will fight on.

Ok. Silent hill 2 may not have been the best escape, though it is pretty great. Instead, I'll finish reading Dead silence. A book about being stuck in a terrible place and assaulted by your horrible mental state...FUCK!

To help distract from (gestures broadly at the world) I played and finally beat silent hill 2 remake. A fantastic game about being stuck in a horrible place and assaulted by your own terrible mental state...HEY WAIT A MINUTE!

I don't always know how to find moments of peace and sanity when I live in a growing fascist dictatorship. I love my family and I try to put on a smile and a brave face, but underneath, I feel anger, fear, and deep sadness. How do you all cope?

During moments when I tear myself away from the horrors of what's going on in my country, I read. I just finished the 3rd book in the dungeon crawler Carl series. Before I hit the 4th, I'm reading a horror titled "Dead silence" by S. A. Barnes. Pretty good so far! #booksky

Republican voters sure are starting to look like wives who hear their husband abusing their daughter and decide to stay quiet and stay with him. Maybe even getting mad at the child for it.

My latest way to temporarily escape societal collapse is to play silksong and read comics written by Tom King. Mister miracle being a standout book the feels extremely relatable under current circumstances.

To my fellow Americans with disabilities, its time to get ready for hardship. The trump government is absolutely coming for the benefits and programs we use and depend on. It is wasted effort to hope they wont. Prepare as best as possible. #disability

It will start happening a lot sooner than expected. A drug addled techbro accelerationist has gained full access to our programs. They will be screwed with to the nth degree and staffing is currently being gutted. They wont have to pass a bill taking funds if they just break everything.

This is the unfortunate reality of our current government. They are Nazis through and through. To them, we are useless eaters and they believe we are better off dead (so they can pocket the money instead). They wont hear reason. They dont care. Prepare prepare prepare.

Getting started with this one. It's a book about a prisoner in a far distant future earth where humanity is dying out. A bleak, but rather compelling setting filled with Tchaikovsky's fantastic world building. #booksky

Of the two extreme horror books, I finished this one first. In a world where all meat is poison aside from human we see industrial cannibalism. It's horrific, tragic, and an uncomfortable mirror of our society. It's also excellent and very hard to put down. Big recommend!

Wanted to read some horror. Poking around, I discovered the extreme horror subgenre. I thought that was splatterpunk, but apparently not. Most of it is edgelord sludge, but these two are considered best in show; so I decided to dive in!

Game of the year: Mouthwashing. Show of the year: Scavengers reign. Movie of the year: The devils bath. Big time trigger warnings on the first and third. Both are well written and well considered, but also still quite heavy and graphic.

Happy new year folks! Looks like all kinds of terrible is on the horizon, but I believe we are ready to stand firm in the face of it. Maybe even find time to dance in the rain :-)

store.steampowered.com/app/333640/C.... Been playing a good bit of this since 1.0. I've become a mind sundering, matter dissolving psychic terror. Asks a bit of your imagination, but if you're the type open to that, qud offers an adventure quite unlike anything else.

Burning through the second book in the final architecture series. Very fun space opera full of great characters. You can see Tchaikovsky's imagination burning as bright as ever when meeting new aliens or visiting far flung worlds. Want to join? Start with Shards of earth.

Sick of my disability. Even rolling around town just to get out of the house for a bit is a chore. Terrible infrastructure, bad ada solutions, and aggressive drivers were the frosting to my pain cake. At least I get to see my daughter later 😁

store.steampowered.com/app/1147860/.... One of my big interests is indie gaming. I get a lot of downtime due to my disability, and I'm always looking for a good way to spend that time. This collection is a superb way to spend game time and is budget friendly to boot.

Havent been much of a social media poster for a while now. Bluesky seems a decent enough place to get back into the swing of things. Looking forward to wasting some time with interesting folks!

You are up to date.
