when he's gone, it will take twice as much money and energy to fix everything he broke. at which point republicans will accuse dems of spending too much. we'll need to tax the wealthy, maybe legalize weed and tax it, and recoup as much as we can from the trump crime family & criminal friends.

Not that he was going to get a real warm send off, but what republicans have done to Mitch McConnell has made his departure far more indignant and humiliating then it would have been otherwise. That's kind of shameful.
