Ever looked at the Azure Portal and thought: “This needs more dragging things around.” No? Just me then. Anyway, I built Azure Canvas. 😄 Design Azure visually, generate Bicep/ARM/TF, validate it and even deploy it. azure-canvas.com Read more here: bondytech.uk/azure-canvas... #Azure #Cloud #DevOps

Seriously, they just told Grok to make the imperial officer uniforms from Star Wars but “more Hitlery.”

The guy's a genius.

What is this special 'threshold' you speak of? What happens when it's breached? I need to know! #WorldCup #Haaland #LamineYamal #CrazyValuations

Lost it as soon as we went 1-0 up. Very disappointing but the Argies deserved it. Tactics were spot on for the whole tournament until the second half of this match. #england #worldcup

Heads up HP users caught in #CA2023 #UEFI boot cert updates: #800G6DM – Min BIOS is 02.25 but it's been pulled — new default settings risk tripping BitLocker on reboot. Change them immediately or wait for the next BIOS. #Z2G9 –6 MotherBoards bricked on 01.02.32. 01.02.35 is now available (untested).

Fuck I both hate and love that this is a certified banger

Today has mostly been about powder.

Haha would have loved to see them deliver this

Personally i think these have seen better day and are only good for the bin. My wife seems to think they're still perfectly fine and will make great banana cake/bread/etc. Hmmm.

The #A3000 came to my school just a little late in the day for me to have real fun with. Staggering spec for the time (compared to the Beebs), I feel like this never hit the heights it truly deserved, coming onto the scene during a somewhat transitional period for home computing. #retrocomputing

Poker night. Final hand of the evening and in a strong position chip-wise with King-Nine Spades suited. Villain has pocket 3s. All-in, Heads up, flop reveals 5,3,6. Assume I'm done for. Turn reveals 9 of Spades, river reveals the Queen of Spades. Game over, great way to finish the night.

Recommend to anyone who loves a rocknroll read...regardless of any love of rocknroll. Improved by sitting on a beach in Barbados.

Sigh. #Christmas

#Poker night, last hand: all-in, cards on their backs. Hero has bullets vs spades—feeling good. Ace hits the flop, easy win! Then a spade on the turn—flush for villain? Not today! River drops and the final bullet fired: four of a kind. From despair to triumph in one card. #4ofakind #Aces

The #Dragon32. What started as toy co Mettoy became Dragon Data in the early 80s. They produced what is basically a cheap TRS80 using the same Motorola MC6809E processor and MSBasic. Decent kb and good HW support, but crap (mostly green) graphics led to less than stellar adoption. #RetoComputers

Been a while since a #retro post but I think the 'strad deserves a place. AMS introduced this arguably in the later stages of the 80s boom when sales elsewhere were declining. Sugar seemed to hit a sweet spot, combining all-in function with good graphics and sound. It sold 2m units. #retrocomputing

Ealing half. Before and after. I don't think the 'after' quite conveys the difficulty this year. I was knackered. Just under 2h but nowhere near what I expected. Next year, more training, less eating b4, and maybe trainers that aren't falling to bits. #EalingFeeling #EalingHalf

So one bucket list item for 2025 complete...writing a #SpaceInvaders game, lol. OK maybe not challenging to many but I've not really written any games before and figured I need to start somewhere simple(ish). Maybe try a version in Python next. bondytech.uk/space-invade... #GameDev #RetroComputing

#Poker night. Final hand and wasn't looking good for the win when villain made a set of cowboys on the turn. Then the ten came making the nut straight. Game over, trophy retained for another month. A good night's work.

Great day out @heritagelive.bsky.social watching the PSBs and Scissor Sisters. Can never quite figure out why the journey takes so long from London given is only around 105m though? Roads the and back are fast enough but time slows down a soon as you hit Norfolk!

Kula Shaker's new single is quite good, but the organ bit in the middle is lifted straight from The Door's 'Riders on a Storm'. Practically note for note. Is this even legal? :-) @kulashaker.bsky.social #TheDoors #RidersOnTheStorm

Can Elon's 'musk' overpower Donald's 'trump'? Not sure I'd want to be stuck in a lift with either. For my 200th post it seems fitting to comment on their fallout. I think most predicted this would happen sooner rather than later. www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/cy... #badsmells

This really was the machine that started the computer revolution of today and shares many compatible elements with todays PCs. Difficult to believe these were 8bit although it had 20bits of add space allowing up to 1MB of memory. Running MSBASIC it was an instant success. #TopTrumps #RetroComputing
