I have read the third and final story of Flash Foster, the teen hot-rodding sensation from the 1950s. All three stories have promised Action and this is the one that does it best. (Not that it saves them from being replaced when superheroes come back next issue) www.bookofpdr.com/2026/10/25/y...

Did you know that they have a movie industry down in the States? If you look, you can actually find movies and shows that aren't filmed in Canada.

For October I wanted a spooky-themed character in my monthly pixel art of an obscure Marvel character, so I picked Professor Louise Hastings from the Darkhold, one of my favourite horror books that Marvel has done.

I was informed this morning that they are doing Marvel Universe Magic: The Gathering cards and they forgot to put Rocket Racer in there. I've put in the research required to present the solution:

This is either underpowered (appropriate for the character), overpowered (appropriate for how I feel about the character), or exactly correctly balanced and is therefore legal to be played in the game.

I was honoured to be asked to create a poster for Taqqut Productions night of Inuit horror shorts. It will be screening at the Revue Cinema in Toronto on Thursday at 6:30pm tickets available through Eventbrite. Don’t miss it! www.eventbrite.com/e/alianaqtut...

In my modern remake, the thing that brought Charles Foster Kane joy in his youth wasn't a dumb sled, it was the DVD box set of The Simpsons season four.

What are your house rules for chess? Among my group, when you land on the danger square you have to roll to see if you can collect the bishop's treasure. Anyone else have rules like that?

This movie needed more Star Wars to justify the title. I count one Star War and one mention if a Clone War, which we could not at that time be certain was a Star War. Do not go in expecting many Star Wars.

My “1993” style pinup of the characters from the 1963 miniseries by Moore, Bissette, Veitch, Gibbons, Simpson, Brown, & Valentino, done for @cosmiclion.bsky.social’s GIANT-SIZE ‘63 jam project. 1963 is one of my all-time favourite comics, and I would love to draw all these guys again some time.

Does no one else find this an unforgivably stupid question? Emissions reductions won't make a heat wave NOW survivable. Likewise, more homes can have AC, heat pumps while overall cutting greenhouse emissions. This isn't an "either/or", both are needed. www.theguardian.com/environment/...

theguardian.comAir conditioning push favoured over emissions cuts in five European nations, survey findsPoll also finds sizeable majorities who believe it should be easier to install air con in homes

I'm introducing a new chess piece. Wraps around the sides of the board like a Pacman. Probably gonna call it the Pacman. It'll be shaped like Pacman.
