Where is Rod Sterling when you need him? He needs to wake up tomorrow poor and marginalized.
“Yeah I did it again, bitches. Fuck you, I like these dinners.” @billmaher lashes out, defends himself for having dinner with Trump again. He says Trump had good etiquette, never lost his temper or yelled… How nice! Imagine being this far up your own ass.

This ESPN story is 2,500 words long and somehow doesn't once find room for the four words "Pablo Torre Finds Out"

If you love "To Kill a Mockingbird" I beg you never read "Go Set a Watchman"
“To Kill a Mockingbird” has been on my reading list my whole life. For one reason or another I never got around to it. Finally reading it this week and let me say it’s one of the best books I’ve ever read. 😭Highly recommended, and timely. #booksbluesky
I am not a reflecting pool expert but I have spent 24 years applying and removing finishes and I can tell you two things. If a 67 years old man can peel your finish by hand ,he isn't the one who should be arrested. Making a significant 200 foot cut on a concrete surface would take 25 blades
And arresting people who *touch the water* for "vandalism" just compounds the ignorance and incompetence. "Your honor, in my defense, I call SCIENCE"

The people executed are often the end product of horrific abuse and injustice. So executing them doesn't alter the system that produced them, it just eliminates the evidence
One reason I hate death penalty cases is that capital punishment is incredibly stupid and irrational. It's cruel, expensive, and serves no deterrent effect. It's rarely imposed, except against a tiny minority of unlucky defendants—and in those cases, racism almost always plays a role. Just end it.

So I'm from Virginia. I currently live in TN and I also lived here as a teen. It's a little complicated. Anyway, the Rutherford County PUBLIC library is where I spent a lot of time as a tween/teen. It shaped me. It saved me. This is a PUBLIC LIBRARY not even a school. And I'm proud of *Luanne.
Also maintenence workers, cleaners and baggage handlers might not show up foe work
I am not pointing this comment at anyone in particular, but: The TSA line has already been a fraught place for brown and Black travelers for as long as it has been around. The racism might get worse tomorrow, but it isn’t going to start tomorrow. That is all.

I am 62 and there has never been a bad year for movies just bad years for free time
The fact that some people are still desperately trying to convince you that "2025 was a bad year for movies" and "there are no good movies anymore" tells me that many of these "critics" are frauds who desperately need to see more movies.
