I wish I could be awake for more than 4 hours at a time. I think soon that might finally be a reality for me. For the last 10 years I've been a zombie, it feels normal to me until I hang out with people, im too tired to do much and it had gotten so much worse the last few years.

I really want to hang out with people more, and even do stuff outside of work. And I've been trying but im just to tired to say or do much. I just kinda exist. Granted ill have bouts of energy and can be the life of the party. But it feels so fleeting.

Streaming today made me realize how badly Ai has impacted the creative flow of devs. About 60% games tested or played had used ai. The worst part is a vast majority simply dont list that they do. Its so disheartening. Our job has went from enjoying games, into parsing through the inevitable slop.

Its a sad fact that as time passes ai will be more normalized in this field. I wish to see this change for the better. But the main problem is; whether its generative or assisted programming its always going to restrict design. Especially if your code can only be modified and read using Claude.

Streamers are always trying to find what works for them. Or a searching for their "niche" whether its a genre of game or model. None of that matters if you dont ask yourself why.

Every creative process should always be tied to you and why you decided to fuck with it. If you dont than why did you hit go live in the first place.

If you really wanna stand on anti Ai art theft stuff. Instead of posting about it how much you hate it and stop using Monster tts, it is the biggest issue I see in the streamer space and nobody talks about it.

And yes I was one of the first people to use it and push for it. I deeply regret doing so, but im not going to neg other streamers using it. Just know optics and ethics are very separate things.

Coming to terms that my time in the military was just purposeful complacency. It sickens me to my core on the daily. Granted I felt this way since I got out. But the thought has grown on me. I loved my time in but I also lament it. If you feel like you have no other choice in life but to join, dont.

There are so many other options. You will not find personal growth that you wouldn't elsewhere. You will not become stronger, just fooled into it. You will not find any form of real fulfillment. In the end the us military is just the largest gang on the planet; if not a cult.
