YES ON 4 to make our state's democratic process fairer and more inclusive with same day voter registration. NO ON 5 to block a money grab by the rich that would undo the Fair Share omendment and lead to service cuts for working class communities NO STANCE ON 6

YES ON 7 to promote housing density and more affordable neighborhoods. NO ON 8 to keep recreational marijuana legal in Massachusetts. YES ON 9 to preserve our state's gun control laws that contribute to our lowest in the nation gun violence.

YES ON 1 to subject the state legislature to public records law, exposing private dealings to public scrutiny. YES ON 2 to give public defenders the right to unionize and negotiate better working conditions. NO ON 3 to keep competitive primaries and say no to billionaires trying to buy elections.

Join us Saturday for our monthly meeting! We'll be talking about labor solidarity plans with Cambridge educators and Harvard & MIT grad students, organizing against Question 5, Cambridge For Palestine's divestment campaign, and of course Monday's huge win for sex worker justice. bdsa.us/cdsa10-26

VICTORY!!! Last night, the Cambridge City Council voted 8-1 to pass a policy order that deprioritizes the arrest and prosecution of persons for consensual adult sex work. We are one step closer to statewide decriminalization. When we fight, we WIN.

Today, we just heard that Starbucks is closing 250 locations. When workers take on one of the biggest corporations in the world, they shouldn’t have to do it alone. We’re proud to join workers to #BoycottStarbucks until baristas win a fair union contract.

boycottstarbucks.netBOYCOTT STARBUCKSStarbucks is the biggest violator of U.S. labor law in modern history. Join the movement - Boycott Starbucks!
Starbucks Workers United@sbworkersunited.org

It has never been more clear why baristas need the backing of a union.

Last Saturday, we spent some time with our local teachers’ union, the Cambridge Education Association, at Danehy Park’s Family Fun Day. Teachers are looking for support from the public next Monday, Sept 28th, at City Hall. Please show up and let our educators how much we appreciate their work.

We will be gathering at the Blue Bike station outside the Copley Boston Public Library at 9:30AM on Monday, September 7th to walk in the parade. Afterwards, join us for a relaxing social at the Yard House in Copley! We'll see you out there!

We built a formidable campaign. In a race where our opponent had to resort to 6 Super PACs, we built a movement of people that came within striking distance.

Every new organizer onboarded into DSA through this campaign is an organizer who can help us in 2027, and an organizer growing our labor, housing, and climate work.

Our volunteer canvassers and neighbors have seen these flyers around Cambridge today. We have no idea who put these up, but we want to be clear that these did not come from our campaign or from anybody supporting us.

Cambridge is not for sale. Hospital CEOs have checks. We’ve got the people. Corporate lobbyists and billionaires can spend all they want on our opponent, but they can’t buy a conversation at the door. They can’t buy solidarity. And they sure as hell can’t buy this election.

Cambridge has been crushed by rising costs of housing ever since rent control was outlawed across Massachusetts in 1994, as Massachusetts has not built enough housing throughout our state. The state blocks cities like Cambridge from enacting local solutions to protect renters.

Massachusetts is the last blue state with a voluntary 287(g) agreement with ICE. The PROTECT Act was an important victory, won by immigrants and advocates who spent years pressuring Beacon Hill. But the work isn’t finished. The law leaves a massive loophole that allows this agreement to continue.

Healthcare industry CEOs and lobbyists have been funding Rep Decker’s campaign. As Chair of the Joint Committee on Public Health, our opponent is responsible for oversight and regulation of public health in MA. Those who profit from the healthcare crisis trust Rep Decker.

This cycle, we have one endorsed candidate, @evanforcambridge.bsky.social Recommendations are not endorsements. Races with recommendations represent candidates we feel are clearly aligned with, or against, our values as socialists, or where the choice between two options is exceptionally clear.

The State House has enough politicians who know how to fall in line. Evan knows how to organize people to fight back. When union insiders tried to intimidate reformers and drown out dissent, Evan kept organizing, helping win historic democratic reforms and usher in new leadership at the @uaw.org.

Our opponent has raised the most donations of any political campaign in Cambridge history. Who is behind the money seeking to keep Rep Decker in office? John Fish is a billionaire and CEO of Suffolk Construction, which is negotiating to build a new women’s prison in Mass.
