I’m old enough to remember when our president’s foreign policy wasn’t manipulated and dictated by Putin and Netanyahu. Trump and the Republican party are just puppets at this point.

If WI public school funding was required to keep up with inflation, as it was until 2009, the School District of Menomonee Falls would have 13 million additional dollars in revenue. Instead, the district is now facing an 8 million dollar deficit by 2031.

The deficit is due to years of underfunding by the Republican controlled budgets and skyrocketing inflation. Dramatic cuts to school programs and/or a referendum are inevitable due to the State’s budget failures.

It’s weird to remember that I learned of the 9/11 attacks before class at college through word of mouth, and by calling to my boss at Circuit City (because I knew he’d be near a tv). No iPhone, facebook, twitter, or text messages. How different our forms of communication have changed in 25 years.
