Somehow spending 13 hours out with my girlfriend and meeting her found family made my joints and bones all hurt! It was amazing yesterday but I am struggling through today hard.

In my hubris I destroyed a freshly made kimono top, I made a draft piece out of muslin and put it in the wash to get rid of the chalk marks and forgot a dedicates bag. It's still together enough that I can use it for the draft but I'm upset, I worked hard on it! Gone with the tears...

I've been playing Control Resonant and I think that shows in this piece. I did put myself through a lot of pain working on this one with all the perspective though!

My favorite thing about following creators who post in non English languages is that I can stop and try to puzzle out what it means. I love trying to sense out how a sentence is structured and relates to an image. I really need to learn to read some non Latin scripts it'd make this even more fun!

I've been thinking so much about botanical gardens, I absolutely love them, need to visit another, I miss being surrounded by plants!

I'm still a little to sick to focus fully on drawing but that's ok, I have a project I've been meaning to start for ages! I've wanted to try spinning my own yarn for years and finally got the stuff for it, carded some local Soay wool I bought and managed something! I'm learning this skill still!

I personally think the Earth's resources belong to us all, and nobody is entitled to steal it because they made an app.

Man I'm going to miss post day tonight, being chronically and acutely sick sucks, can't even focus half the time, and the other half I'm wheezing.

I remain sick and am very tired of it. I want to draw I've been trying so hard to stay upright to work on a page I love but its been awful, coughing up a lung every few minutes. So tired.

Despite being sicker today than I was yesterday, I was able to do some artwork thanks to some tylenol. Big ole migraine but I'm almost half way through this Wednesday's page. Just hope I can keep that up tomorrow so I don't have to delay the page.

Being stupid sick sucks. I want to create, not lay down and rest. This is evil.

There's something about working with textiles that I love so deeply and fully, every bit of it makes me happy to do even when I'm just plodding away on my grandmas old machine. I'm getting a new to me embroidery machine in a few days and it's so exciting.

After 11 dedicated attempts (and plenty of practice runs) I beat #silksong on steel soul mode! It wasn't easy but in honor of what I think might be my favourite game of the last decade I made some #fanart, such a cinematic game! Please be patient as I try to keep on to 100% steel soul.

I've been trying so hard to find a good time and space to try to get into a local con or art fair and I've come to the conclusion there's no good time of the year to do this. earlier in the year every con was too short notice, now it's hard for me to plan for! I don't know what I'm doing sometimes.
