*facepalm* You got sued into caring Zuck! Don’t go acting like you got this great idea just now.

Wild! Netflix has bought the rights to air an ad!

CEOs last year: This technology will replace all the workers and possibly create an extinction event. CEOs now: Ya’ll have an attitude problem

it’s come to my attention that my tumblr post has been crossposted to bluesky, so I’m posting it on my account here #AntiAI #GenAI

I used to just ignore emails from companies promoting AI this or AI that. But their are so many these days that I started copy/pasting this in reply. I don't think people living in their tech bubbles realize how big the AI backlash is getting.

Is Affinity's software going totally free to use? Hmm. So this website magically appeared on the internet a few hours before Canva's 1pm keynote. www.affinity.studio

New review up on the YouTubes. I really really like the new Wacom Android tablet. This is the art I made for the review.

It's amazing how fast many YouTube Creators stopped using AI to make their thumbnails. The audience has already been conditioned to equate AI with slop so if your thumbnail looks like AI people just don't click it.

Just posted my Wacom Cintiq 16 review. Great tablet and return to form for Wacom. This was the art I did for the review.

My current tech pet peeve is people saying that if a screen isn't OLED it sucks. I've seen some damn good LCDs lately. While in general OLED is a better technology it's doesn't mean and LCD is generally bad.

For the 1000th time I don't want to autocorrect it to that!!!

SCAM ALERT! My favorite part of running a YouTube channel are all the people scamming in my name. If you got an email like this don't pay them. it's not me. 🤦 But if anyone wants to mess with them the email they are using is bradcolbowcollaboration@gmail.com

It was 10 years ago today that I bought @procreate.com on what was then called the iTunes store. The best $6 I ever spent.

Blender + Procreate

Playing with the idea of adding lip syncing to videos. What do you think? look OK? needs more work? Worth pursuing this style over the choppy mouth-less Brad?

Next video is all about drawing hands... or how I FINALLY learned how to draw hands. It's coming out Thursday. If you are a Member on YT or on Patreon check your feed, you can watch it now!

3 weeks into this hand drawing exercise and two things have become clear. First, I am really getting better at this. Second, I’m so sick of drawing hands. 😂

11 years ago I thought it was to late to start a YouTube channel. Glad I didn't listen.

I’m declaring February Hand drawing month… for me anyway. I’m terrible at drawing hands. So I’m going to practice every day and hopefully get a video at the end of all of this. Day one I started by learning from one of the greats Andrew Loomis.

My short film The Lost Tower is now available in 4K on YouTube! Amazing collaboration with Louis Lacoste for the incredible music and sound design, and to my buddy Pierre Lazarevic for his help with the title design. Made with #blender #b3d Hope you will enjoy it! www.youtube.com/watch?v=ecOO...

Color me intrigued!

NEW VIDEO: How I made My First Animated Short is up on the Brad's Art School Channel youtu.be/mIdyuXohujQ

Two video coming out soon. The first is an animated short I started over a year ago as part of my Procreate Dreams review. I decided to finish it and get it out there. The second video is a breakdown of how I made that video. The software I used, the steps I took and what I learned along the way.

I'm bringing my second YouTube channel back! New videos (almost) every month in 2025. The first is coming Friday!!!

Just catching up on the whole Honey YouTube scam thing... and so many things make so much sense now! For years I've been trying to figure out how my affiliate revenue keeps going down while my YouTube views have continued to go up.

Really excited about the new brushes and updates to Dreams!

A gentle breeze rocks the house of cards.

It's not to late! If we all work together we can make this happen!

I'm currently rewatching some of my reviews from earlier this year for my year end roundup. I've reviewed 22 tablets/laptops this year... I can't remember what was good and what wasn't.

Double down on quality storytelling. The deluge of AI slop is coming. People's desire for authentic human made content is going to go up as big companies cut corners. www.thebookseller.com/news/new-pub...

Fiddling in Adobe Animate again. I like this little puppet guy but I think I'm going to try a version with outlines and my normal coloring.

Review: The new iPad Mini is a great little sketchbook of a tablet but it's probably not for everyone. youtu.be/pOzw6ubjdgY

So pumped to see Metaphor getting a nomination. I assumed it was to niche but glad to see it getting some love. It's so good!

This was meant to be part of a series but I never got around to do any other game consoles or handhelds. Might have to dust off the idea some time.

Hi I'm Brad and I draw cartoons and review drawing tablets.
