I stole this valor from George Carlin. Come for bad opinions about transit, urbanism, politics, baseball, engineering, or anything else I think I know something about. Stay for the inevitable dunking.

Centrists want to give car dealers subsidized loans, and $7,500 direct cash rebates for EVs. I want direct to consumer auto sales to get rid of the scourge of parasitic car salesman on society. We are not the same.

More than 10 million Americans take out a used car loan every year, with an average rate of an insane 11.4%. We lower those rates by 4 points with our FHA for Car Loans proposal, saving the typical borrower $6,000 over the life of their loan.

So I'm a dweeb, and a loving pain in the ass for NYC government. So I love the fact that they rolled out 311 via text. If you text 311692 you can just make your complaint to the city without going through the long voice menus. They did this basically without telling anyone, but it's so good.

I have such an expertly curated algorithm that I'm seeing posts from Mexican street food restaurants in the US and this is how they're advertising the game tomorrow night. "Good vibes"

Historic rowhouse: vintage ~1900. Solid masonry wall construction with shared party walls, wood floors little insulation. Ductless Mini-Split added to the building in the 2010s. Your excuses are bullshit.

The thing that helps me particularly is far more important than the thing which would help tens-hundreds of thousands of people who aren't me.

IMO, better integration between LIRR and NICE/SCT is way more important than better integration between LIRR and Metro-North.

The existence of charities is an indication of the failure of the state to provide for social needs. Every legitimate charity's existence is an unmet societal need which should be state funded. Tax deductible charity is an erosion of democratic rights and should be banned.

The most heinous waste and abuse enabled by the Long Island Railroad pay structure would be eliminated if we just ran third rails all the way out to the end of the Montauk, Oyster Bay, Greenport and Port Jefferson branches. Maybe we should just do that.

In a midnight executive order, Pres. Donald Trump has banned whimsy and light-heartedness. Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer and Rep. Hakeem Jefferies have praised Trump's "...Commitment to seriously addressing the lack of seriousness."

Look. I don't think AOC should run for president. But, I think that she would win Stalin margins if she went full leather domme against the Republicans who clearly want her to step on their nuts.

You are up to date.
