In today's vid: what to wear to a protest in 2026 I said that I wear wool minimalist shoes, but that they're not a good choice if you're around tear gas bc they will absorb the residue. I was asked me what the shoes were. I don't know the brand, I inherited them from my mom.

I spent the morning at a protest medic training. An experienced medic down at the ICE facility spoke of how ICE targets medics first with rubber bullets, pepper balls, tear gas, in order to incapacitate them so they cannot render aid to other protesters.
