The misfits are an obvious joke band but glen danzig is NOT in on the joke and treats his band, which is a bunch of guys growling about halloween, with a deadly seriousness. And thats why the misfits work

CP2077 is a frustrating game for me bc I can clearly see that its GOOD. what theyve done with it is incredible. I wanna like it. But i just dont. The moment to moment gameplay is great. Narrative/quest designs are great. But the vibes are so fucking rancid and I just hate spending time in the world

I did finish the base game a few years ago, or I think I did. And i keep thinking 'i should really go back to it and check out the DLC but just looking at night city makes me physically recoil. Its too bleak. Its too grim. Idk. Im sorry. Im sorry everyone

I think if youre gonna do a dystopia you have to make to make it funny maybe? Idk i like dystopian shit. And post apocalypse shit. But i just find cyberpunk 2077 so fucking abrasive and unwelcoming and miserable that i just cant play it

I was just on the phone with my gal pal talkin pens like a maverick and I said 'i love a wet juicy broad' right as my sister walked into the house and she goes 'yeah i fucken bet you do' Classic. The wet juicy broad thing refers to a type of nib

So they gutted the wendys near my house and basically rebuilt the entire thing to be one of those big empty severe modern fast food places. So im not sure its accurate to say I fucked at this wendys. I fucked at what this wendys was, sure. But i didnt fuck where it became. Its a tough one

A farmer im acquainted with just paid $8500 for a 2006 GMC Sierra bc they dont make work trucks anymore. Youd think an automaker would try to cash in on that market. The dude has owned 2 modern trucks in 5 years and both did not last. He has a 230 acre farm and just uses it for farm chores

Bought an 2021 F150 that completely rusted out inside 3 years, then paid $85k for a brand new tundra which apparently too big to use for farm work and all the sensors in it made driving through the property an impossible nightmare so he sold it to some rube and got the 2006 Sierra.

Hey girl let me just gaze upon your visage right quick. Let me take in the contours of your beauty, drink it in, eyes bright with yearning and hunger. Ok cool, all done, thx so much

Let him go crazy with that 360 degree camera tho lotta spinny camera shots and it i thought it was funny how often they happened when two guys were talking on the phone. Thats movies baby

I dont think every single thing needs to go on forever and have 50 games and movies. Its ok when things are contained. Mass Effect 1-3 are great. The remaster of them is great. There doesnt need to be more, especially not at the hands of EA. kotaku.com/mass-effect-...

kotaku.comWhat Does It Even Mean To ‘Save’ Mass Effect? - KotakuThousands of fans are rallying around a campaign to save the series after BioWare's shutdown, but what does that look like?

The team at bioware that made the original trilogy have moved on. Whatever remains of the brand is just am empty thing held by a publisher that is the antithesis of creativity and passion. But thats ok. Bc there doesnt need to be more. Things can end.

Marmalade Update: marmo like my parents old ass dog, denver Sound on if you wanna here some Grade A mom prattle. Shes prattling about some wood carvings my sister got her.

Ive been talking a lot about journals lately bc I been making journal covers and my toutube algo is now showing me 'journaling' content and some of it is great, just stationary nerds and creatives excited about journaling. Its cute. Its lovely. But SO MUCH of it is batshit kookoo bananas

Or/and theres just people who are mentally ill shopaholics being like 'so i dropped $1000 on notebooks' and then goes through them and says they wont be using 90% of them. Or like stickers and stamps. Ive never seen a hobby so obviously tied to just buying shit (for some people)

That stuff drives me nuts. Like, yeah, find a pen and a notebook you like, sure, but at what point is your hobby just shopping and not journaling. Or creating a journal for other people to look at?! Idk. People can read mine when im fucken dead.

Theres a thing called Aesthetic Journaling, which I guess is akin to scrapbooking in a way, but the barrier to entry into that world is insane and treating journaling that way makes absolutely no sense to me. My pages look like dogshit. My job is to fill them not care about what it looks like

Dozens of blood alchemists in the Order of the Obsidian Skull have petitioned the shadowy cabal to stop the sale of its gorehounds to Lord Hellfang

My parents are getting woke. My dad just called me and asked if i knew that call of duty is made by the US military and is used to whitewash american war crimes. I did know that but Im surprised he knows that Theyre not actually woke theyre boomers so they still have a lot of dumb opinions

My mom sent me a video the other day of a bunch of nazi speeches superimposed over hegseth saying the exact same things too. I dont know who is showing them this stuff but I will say the youtube algo on their TV skews pretty anti-capitalist/fascist so its probably that.

They watch local news only and hate CNN/Fox/NBC or any american news outlet too so I assume not having steeped themselves in that for 50 years is making a big difference.
