This could get "interesting". UK reservoirs could run dry before Xmas, requiring water to be brought in from elsewhere. This is reported in the Daily Mail - I know - and so their map excludes Scotland (and NI) from the shortage graphic. Of course, Scotland has no such problem. I wonder why? 1/3

"Trust is earned", say the BBC - repeatedly. That is true of course. They never mention that stupidity and arrogance are endemic to the BBC. They are an organisation who have been criticised by the UN for facilitating genocide in Gaza. They do not seem to understand that we have NO trust in them.

Then I would suggest that it is not really a Scottish press event. Instead, it is a unionist propaganda event. Par for the course these days.

A guy poisons a female coworker over time. He could have got a life sentence. Instead, he got away lightly. Now he wants his felony conviction expunged! Wow! This is off the scale entitlement. There is no reason to do that. I wonder what his justification is? "But I'm a man!", is my guess, sadly. ๐Ÿ˜ž

This is really depressing. Misogyny is a big problem. How can women feel safe if the people that they look to for help are perpetrators? Every police officer found guilty has broken a fundamental trust and should be kicked out of the force. Glad that the Chief Constable is not trying to bury this.

Hey, BBC! This is why many people don't watch the BBC Scotland channel. We don't want to listen to anti-Scotland propaganda which ignores the facts. England is much worse, again, but they can slag Scotland with impunity due to the BBC's Scotland-bad agenda. Who wants a lie factory in their lounge? ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ

The abuse of Scotland is set to continue. By now, we should all realise that our politics can either have us: staying in the UK and having the government apply 'democracy' (I am using the term loosely) to suit England whilst denying Scotland hers or: becoming independent and going our own way.

This is not about democracy. Nor is it about ensuring that we 'can' have nuclear power stations. This is about the Tories, having spent seven decades in the wilderness in Scotland, overriding our elected gov't so that we WILL have nuclear power stations. The abuse continues. Only indy stops this.

I can't imagine him ever looking to Scotland, to be honest. However, I see the "great communicator" is set to consider a second EU referendum. No mention of "once in a generation". An agenda to suit England. Time to get out of the UK.

His comment is inherently stupid! An independent country in the EU is still independent but is a member of a strong union with benefits and corresponding responsibilities. Scotland, in the UK, is not independent. Once we leave we'll go our own way but have a relationship with the UK without abuse.

I'll say one thing for Burnham: he knows how to deliver a shambles! He "would say" that Scotland's future has been decided for a generation - despite that never being included in the Edinburgh agreement. So, wishful thinking then. And he failed with the question: how long is a generation? Gibberish!

2 stats from the previous Norstat #indyref2 poll in May that should make unionist teeth chatter: Unweighted figures: โžก๏ธ Yes 60%, No 40% Those who did not vote in 2014: โžก๏ธ Yes 70%, No 30% Thatโ€™s why weighting is so important.

It has always been clear that conflating the outcome of a parliamentary election - many issues and multiple voting choices - with the outcome of an independence referendum - single issue and a binary voting choice - was just plain wrong. This poll gives fresh evidence of just how badly wrong it is.

Burnham says there is no consensus for a second independence referendum - this is not true. He 'clarified' things by saying that there was a consensus when the first referendum was granted - this is not true either. Support for indy was around 27% at that time. Labour cannot stop telling lies.

He is missing a trick, here. Just grant Scotland an indy referendum and we will leave. Then he no longer needs to worry about the existence of the true north of the UK! Additionally, a unified Ireland and an independent Wales would leave Burnham as the PM of England - matching how he sees himself.
