Aftermath by Joel Meyerowitz. One of my favourite books. Joel Meyerowitz from NYC was one of the few people allowed to take photos on the WTC site, documenting the aftermath and clean up over the next 9 months, of an event that changed not just America but the world. Fascinating book this one.

Back from a mooch in Italy, getting out and about on the amazing Trenitalia trains, double decker's, cheap and frequent. Taking in Pisa, Florence, Livorno and Lucca, just four places in a beautiful country.
