Here are some pics from our August ride, our longest ride ever! We had a great turnout and an incredible time. Next ride is on Sunday, Sept. 27 for the last regular season White Sox game of the season with @chicagobikesox.com. We are meeting at McGuane Park at 12:30.

Our final tailgate of 2026 is a family ride with @bridgeportkidical.org. Bike Sox of all ages are welcome! We’ll be riding from McGuane Playground in Bridgeport to see the Sox take on the Rockies in the last game of the regular season. Details at chicagobikesox.com.

Bridgeport Kidical Mass ride to the beach today was a lot of fun. We had our longest ride of just under 8 miles RT, and it might have also been our largest number of kids on bikes. Maybe 75 people altogether. I'm so grateful for these people. @bridgeportkidical.org

We're absolutely devastated to hear of the death of Riley O'Neil, who was killed in a crash yesterday in Bridgeport. Our thoughts are with his family at this time. There'll be a vigil ride on Monday, details below.

It was another beautiful day for a bike bus, this time in Ravenswood, hosted by @bikegridnow.org, with all sorts of special guests! These bike busses help kids get outside, socialize, and get some exercise before a big day at school, while marshals keep the ride safe!

We've partnered up with Walls Turned Sideways in Garfield Park for a drop-in bike repair fair with a ride around the neighborhood starting at 3pm. Thanks to @westtownbikes.bsky.social and @workingbikes.bsky.social for providing mechanics. Our friends at @atalliance.bsky.social will be there with us

Congratulations to @nettelhorstbikebus.org for finishing out their fourth year getting kids to school by bike! We were so honored to get to drop by to document their last ride of the year. Video coming soon!
