Hope folks enjoyed #MinecraftLive. So pumped that we finally revealed that we are bringing the Sift to Vanilla Minecraft. We have been working so hard to make this a reality and being able to share with the world a new dimension is coming to Vanilla is so exciting!

Normally my team and I work on the platform and building APIs for internal developers and creators but the upcoming drop I help add the wool stairs and slabs to Bedrock, I’m so excited for players to use it and can’t wait to see what you all build! youtu.be/Agmsdgyj_8M?...

Can’t wait to go to the England vs DR Congo game tomorrow!

Really love seeing the reactions to the wool stairs and slabs. My team has been working hard to make it easier to get new blocks in the game and it’s fun to see that pay off and the community reactions. #MinecraftLive

Curious to know, what are you all the most surprised and excited for that was announced at #minecraftlive?

Watching the chat on the livestream for #minecraftlive was super fun. Glad to see all the excitement for our upcoming drops and features!

This was a super fun read. Fantastic article!

I know AI can be a hot button issue in game development but this is a super helpful video on how to use copilot in game development. youtu.be/y0Z93nRgQG8?...

One thing I enjoy the most is seeing the community respond to our changelogs, sometimes they are spot on about what we are cooking up, other times they say it’s weird we did a thing not realizing it’s a small piece to a much larger puzzle. Thank you all for being so passionate about #minecraft

That was an awesome halftime show. The technical prowess to pull that off, showing all the different cultural aspects, and even if you don’t speak the language you could feel the joy. Awesome!

@theverge.com catching up on a few podcasts within a podcast and thought I would share this

Had a fantastic week in Stockholm working with devs on how to get new blocks in the game faster AND how to make it creator friendly. Stockholm was beautiful but I’m ready to go home 😅 #minecraft

I finally got around to playing with Godot and I’m not sure I’ll ever go back to Unity #godot

@reckless.bsky.social not even in 2026 yet and some of the predictions you guys made are off (if the deal goes through) 😅 TikTok signs deal to sell US unit to American investor-led venture - www.reuters.com/business/ame...

My @frame.work laptop was overheating and the fans were driving me nuts. Any other laptop I probably would have just spent 3k on another one, but with this one I spent 19.99 on some new thermal paste, popped it open, applied it and now it works perfectly. #righttorepair #framework

after millions of views and shares of my Portland Frog art. (thank you all🙏🏾) I got requests to highlight priests, and chickens, and Chicagoans, and T-Rexes, and more… all of us who refuse to bend the knee. so this is for US. 𝚂𝚝𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚃𝚊𝚕𝚕. 𝚆𝚎 𝚆𝚒𝚕𝚕 𝚆𝚒𝚗.

It’s important for the internet to know that my son scored the winning goal today in his U10 soccer team.

Can’t wait until November for my @frame.work 16!

@frame.work just wanted to say that I continue to love your laptop. I ordered my framework 13 in 2021 and it’s still going strong. I’ve used it for work at AWS, Disney, and Microsoft. Cannot recommend it enough. Keep doing what you’re doing.

I reached out to Mike Collins office multiple times to ask about his stance on pieces of legislation the last few months and the response was “You can’t expect Mr. Collins to have insight on all legislation being voted on” Actually yes I can, it’s his job. This dude is awful for Georgia

I asked on LinkedIn a few weeks back if people would be interested in my insights on my career and a lot of folks said yes, so I started a newsletter called “Why Did They Hire Me”. I’m a little rusty with writing but here is my first post. open.substack.com/pub/brocknee...

Not sure if this happens to others who work on games, but sometimes it’s easy to forget how fun the game you’re working on really is. Had a chance the last few days to play Minecraft just to play it, not to test a thing or verify a bug, but just to play it and what a delight it was

Don't miss Creator Camp—a two-day live event packed with technical tutorials, an overview of tools, everything you need to master the art of building in Minecraft and Roundtables with the Minecraft Creator team. aka.ms/creatorcamp (I’ll be part of the Q&A)

I called Mike Collins’ office to ask about the IMLS funding being cut and the guy answering the phone said he couldn’t provide any information on such a niche issue. How are libraries niche?

Anyone out there make custom blocks for Minecraft Bedrock edition? I’d love to learn more about your developer experience and workflow. #minecraft #creators #developerexperience

What if DeepSeek is so good because it’s not AI but actually a bunch of people in a data center responding to questions and the reason it lets you know its reasoning for the answer is to buy time.
