The news of Eric Bauza passing is really fucking with me. He was just posting as recently as 24 hrs ago, going around to conventions and expo's. A powerhouse in voice acting and overall just being a good fucking person and advocate for VA's of all backgrounds.

Amidst news circulating about bills being introduced that involve invasive body examinations for kids in sports, it’s made me realize how weird sports physicals were. At least in my experience, I remember being taken to one when I was in 7th grade that was held at a church?

I remember how weird it all was and the fact that I was made to drop my chonies in front of 3 adult men while one of em grabbed my junk and told me to cough. Then I got to high school and the “rules” changed and I was taken to actual doctors then on. Idek if they do physicals like that anymore tbh.

I know this likely isn't the reason, but I can't help but feel that when studios (animation or gaming) withhold concept art and assets for the media they make - like from being published anywhere officially - it's so the suits at the top don't have to pay royalties to the artists behind the work.

like, why withhold concept art for shows or games other than "protecting assets". Some of these shows or games haven't been in circulation for decades. It just feels like they were kept behind locked doors purely so someone didn't have to pay for artistic credit

Ngl I was genuinely surprised by new Metroid. With Metroid Ravenous, new Kirby game and the Zelda OoT remake from yesterday's direct, I think i'm good with game announcements this year lol. Also glad we got no new smash or Pokemon WiWa news. I'd much rather GF cook and Sakurai get a longer break

Tim Curry was such a treasure, and it hits so hard esp after Dolly's passing just yesterday. I grew up watching this man in a variety of roles he played, and while i adore the work he's done i think it's equally important to highlight just how brilliant and funny he was after his stroke.

He never let his limitations stop him from doing anything. In interviews he was still just as sharp and witty, firing off little quips and jokes and making those around him smile. He embraced being different, and was glad he was able to encourage others that it was okay to be different.

I should make it clear before all the nerds come for me, I made this art after a friend made a joke that collecting the eggs from the forgotten man would unlock the “Egg Route” lol The phrase on the art is meant to reflect the irony in that you (the player) and Kris both make choices that do matter

It’s funny that people are so anal about what’s on the punch card. I’m fully aware that the punch card drawings vary depending on the routes and if certain conditions were met. I just thought it would be funny if Susie also drew Ralsei on the card as a little doodle between her and Kris.
