October 27, 1984: Michael Jordan's first three dunks in the NBA. Jordan scored 21 PTS for Chicago in his second career game, but the Bucks beat the Bulls, 108-106. Terry Cummings had 34 PTS/10 REB/4 AST for Milwaukee.

Absolute nails from Mikel Brown Jr. in the corner over a tough contest by Derrick White to knot the game at 117 with two-tenths of a second left. What a shot.

Let’s appreciate a fun game and a good effort tonight. The bonus was exciting stuff from talented youngsters Traore and Brown. Remember, we’re still a good ways away from anything being easy for this Nets team. 👏 🏀 ⚫️⚪️ #NetsWorld #BrooklynNets

Good and bad from Kel, on both sides of the ball. But, without question, the good things he did showed star quality. Long way to go for Brown and the Nets, but there were some good signs tonight for both. Let’s keep this effort up on Friday. 🏀 ⚫️⚪️ #NetsWorld #NetsSky #BrooklynNets #NBA #MikelBrownJr

Chaney had a lovely look from three after the Nets scrambled for the ball in the halfcourt, but it didn’t go down. 🏀 ⚫️⚪️ #NetsWorld #BrooklynNets #NetsSky #Nets #NBA #NBASky

Kel with a killer drive and layup but then loses his man on the other end. One possession game with half a minute left…. 🏀 ⚫️⚪️ #NetsWorld #BrooklynNets #NetsSky #Nets #NBA #NBASky

MPJ has bombed six threes so far tonight. I think Jordi is happy with the effort tonight. FYI, Nolan went back to the bench like a minute after coming back in. So let’s hope his cramping issue isn’t something more serious 🏀 ⚫️⚪️ #NetsWorld #BrooklynNets #NetsSky #Nets #NBA #NBASky

We’ve lost Dëmin for the game already because of a leg contusion. Traore went out with a severe cramp; will he be back? Hope so. He has 15p, 3a, and 2s. As I typed this, Nolan just came back in🏀 ⚫️⚪️ #NetsWorld #BrooklynNets #NetsSky #Nets #NBA #NBASky

Wild stretch late in the third as the Nets lose the lead. Turnovers galore and players hitting the deck left and right. 🏀 ⚫️⚪️ #NetsWorld #BrooklynNets #NetsSky #Nets #NBA #NBASky

“Take this season’s Brooklyn Nets, for instance. They owe their first-round pick to the Houston Rockets via a swap from the Mikal Bridges trade. Normally, you’d think this would give them no incentive to tank. But in this instance, not quite….” 😐 🏀 ⚫️⚪️ #NetsWorld #NetsSky #NBADraft #NBADraftrules

nytimes.comTanking is far from finished in the NBA. It might just look differentTeams near the bottom of the standings will shift priorities as the season unfolds. But some have to keep the near future in mind, too.

JFC, the Celtics are stomping the Bulls by 40 points tonight and the Nets play Boston next. 😐 Hopefully they are straining their shooting elbows…. 😞 🏀 #NBA #NBASky #ChicagoBulls #BrooklynNets

Joe Dumars teams since 2009: 39 wins 27 wins 30 wins 25 wins 29 wins 29 wins 26 wins (last year). Weavers and Dumars have a decade combined of not breaking 30 wins. 10 years!

So here's the news. I have accepted a position with the Los Angeles Sparks' front office. I am excited beyond adequate words, really. I had to say a proper goodbye to my public work, and specifically to NetsDaily, though trust that I could not say it all: www.netsdaily.com/site-news/11...

netsdaily.comFAREWELL — Lucas KaplanI have accepted a position with the Los Angeles Sparks’ front office. The only difficulty is saying goodbye to ND.

Okay, I’m skipping the 4th Q for now I’ll watch later. Wanna see our end-of-rotation guys, look for positive signs. Maybe our deep-benchers can win the quarter against their bench guys One of our positives so far has been the play of Fastball. Nolan has done a lot of good things already #NetsWorld

I’m really down about our start, but it’s the 2nd game of a b2b against a clearly better team. We’re nowhere near expecting to win a game like this right now. We have a LOT of things to improve. This season—whether we bomb or keep improving—is going to be an uphill run all the f*cking way #NetsWorld

Randle’s offense is “messy.” He is quite skilled but has wildly fluctuating levels of effectiveness. 🏀 ⚫️⚪️ #NetsWorld #BrooklynNets #NetsSky #JuliusRandle #NVA #NBASky

It was good to see our guys going from drooping shoulders and dropping their heads when down 22 to bench smiles and standing celebrations at the end of the fourth when we almost pulled off a comeback. Fell short but some good things happened 🏀 ⚫️⚪️ #NetsWorld
