Assaracus 30 launch in NYC with a talented and diverse crew of writers! Assaracus is my heart and the foundation of SRP! It features a small group of LGBTQ+ poets and includes a portfolio of work by each so you really get to know their writing and voice. I’m especially proud of this issue.

I’ll be reading poems at BGSQD tonight!

Listen, Dolly. | Great night honoring and remembering a legend. Proud to be a part of it.

TONIGHT #centralarkansas I’m opening the #DollyParton Tribute Show with a poetic invocation at White Water Tavern. #poetry If you’re local come on out! 6:00 PM and you’d still have time to make the #Cowgays show at The Hall!

When you’re married to a poet, that poet will read a #poem he wrote about gettin’ “romantic” with you in the backseat of a car to a room full of people. And the people will love it as much as you love him. 🚗 🔥 #poetry

Listen, kid. #poetry #CentralArkansasPride

Listen, kid 💙 #poetry

My first in a trio of events this week is on Thursday. Send good vibes and scandalous photos! Trying to decide if I’ll wear the wings…

Today’s #Tarot - from the Aleister Crowley/Frieda Harris Thoth Tarot deck: 2 of Cups (Love) + 6 of Swords (Science) — The cards say: You get to have the partnership and the precision. Love, navigated scientifically. The science of crossing into what you love.

Next week is gonna be very busy! If you’re in Central Arkansas you’ll have three chances for me to cast my poetic spells on you! Reading 1 will be sweet, 2 will be scandalous, and 3 will be DOLLY! #arkansas #booksky #poetry

Today’s #Tarot - from the Aleister Crowley/Frieda Harris Thoth Tarot deck: Nine of Disks (Gain) + Knight of Disks — The cards say: The work yields gain. The gain is tended. The harvest holds.

When writers I’ve had the honor of working with through Sibling Rivalry Press succeed, it’s emotional for me. I’m kind of like a publishing daddy and when they do good, my heart swells. Congratulations to Joe Osmundson on being a finalist for the National Book Award for his latest: Spawning Season.

Today’s #Tarot - from the Aleister Crowley/Frieda Harris Thoth Tarot deck: Ace of Swords + Four of Wands (Completion) — The cards say: You know exactly what you want, and you can have it completely. The cut opens into the feast.

Today’s #Tarot - from the Aleister Crowley/Frieda Harris Thoth Tarot deck: 6 of Swords (Science) + Queen of Swords — The cards say: Cross with precision. Speak with the authority of one who has earned the right to say everything.

Today’s #Tarot - from the Aleister Crowley/Frieda Harris Thoth Tarot deck: Princess of Wands + Prince of Swords — The cards say: The body is ready. The mind is sharp. Everything burns, and everything is said. This is the integration.

Today’s #Tarot - from the Aleister Crowley/Frieda Harris Thoth Tarot deck: 2 of Wands (Dominion) + 9 of Cups (Happiness) — The cards say: You are neither the slave of desire nor the prisoner of satisfaction. You are both the one who claims and the one who receives.

Today’s #Tarot - from the Aleister Crowley/Frieda Harris Thoth Tarot deck: 7 of Cups (Debauch) & 6 of Disks (Success) — The cards say: The 7 of Cups is the pleasure of the mind, the 6 of Disks is the security of the body. You don’t have to choose between the swamp and the harvest.

Cai Sherley’s Out of Yearning, the third chapbook in SRP’s Bridges Series, arrives Oct. 15! A portion of launch-day sales will benefit Point of Pride, which provides financial aid and direct support to trans folks seeking health and wellness care. #Poetry builds bridges and saves lives.

Can’t ever resist putting on some wings.

Today’s #Tarot - from the Aleister Crowley/Frieda Harris Thoth Tarot deck: 2 of Wands (Dominion) + Queen of Cups — The cards say: Begin from the bottom. The dominion you claim now is over your own depths. The light and loving, the dark and perverse. It all lives in these waters.

More pics from the @fathermarc.bsky.social book launch. And yes, that’s the forthcoming book from @theecstaticself.bsky.social (Marc and Kaelan are pressmates so Marc gets an early look!) and the legendary sweetheart @richardsdicks.gay and the beautiful soul @babethepigboi.bsky.social. What love.

Today’s #Tarot - from the Aleister Crowley/Frieda Harris Thoth Tarot deck: 4 of Disks (Power) + Art — The cards say: You are integrated. The fortress stands, and the fire burns within it. Welcome home, alchemist.

Today’s #Tarot - from the Aleister Crowley/Frieda Harris Thoth Tarot deck: Adjustment + Princess of Swords — These are cards of reciprocal exchanges: a meeting that nourishes both. The connections made are real, the pleasure shared, the book found its readers, the bodies found their rhythm.

So proud of @fathermarc.bsky.social for a successful book launch. The night was full of family (blood and chosen and 🐶), love, and fun. So many beautiful people with beautiful stories.

This morning’s #Tarot - from the Aleister Crowley/Frieda Harris Thoth Tarot deck: Prince of Disks + 2 of Cups (Love) You are no longer the Devil in chains or the Emperor on the throne. You are the gardener in the dirt, and Love is what grows.

Don’t mind me. Just chilling by the Palm Springs pool wondering how often people use the champagne vending machine.

This morning’s #Tarot - from the Aleister Crowley/Frieda Harris Thoth Tarot deck: 2 of Wands (Dominion) + 9 of Wands (Strength) — “ I will have this pleasure. I will write this chapter. I will be this naked.” Good morning from #palmsprings 🪩

Vegas pit stop 🎲 🎲 en route to Palm Springs. Keeping my money in my pocket, tho!

This morning’s #Tarot - from the Aleister Crowley/Frieda Harris Thoth Tarot deck: The Empress + 7 of Wands (Valour) — The cards have been preparing you for exactly this—the integration of the shadow and the garden, the beast and the creator.

This morning’s #Tarot - from the Aleister Crowley/Frieda Harris Thoth Tarot deck: The Devil (Third time in five days) + Fortune — Aside - or maybe the point: Palm Springs trip Thursday! I hope to meet some of you!

This makes me feel ELECTRIC. Thank you!!!!

This morning’s #Tarot - from the Aleister Crowley/Frieda Harris Thoth Tarot deck: 8 of Cups (Indolence) + 4 of Disks (Power) — The message: There's something you're refusing to leave because it represents security (4 of Disks), even though emotionally you've already checked out (8 of Cups).

This morning’s #Tarot - from the Aleister Crowley/Frieda Harris Thoth Tarot deck: Prince of Swords + Princess of Swords. — I’ve been asked why I pull two cards and place them this way. My intuition pulls me to this method. I seek the energy of the moment and how to put it into action.

This morning’s #Tarot - from the Aleister Crowley/Frieda Harris Thoth Tarot deck: The Emperor + The Devil (again???!)

This morning’s #Tarot - from the Aleister Crowley/Frieda Harris Thoth Tarot deck: Prince of Cups + The Devil
